Colorado has Worell, Cummins, Foote, McCormick, Konowalchuk, Blake, Morris and McCallister. Just with those names I came up with off of the top of my head they can drag a game into the alley with anyone.
Edmonton-Laraque, J.Smith, Moreau, Staios, Torres, Isbister, Brewer and Cross. Another team that can make you pay.
I want to know why you disagree and who you would put in their place.
Colorado, I'll agree with Foote, Kono and Blake, but outside of that, they don't use their power to their advantage.. at least from games I've seen. Worrell doesn't fight as much as he should.
Edmonton, they don't play an overly physical game. You missed Ryan Smyth, who I'd put as the grittiest player on the team by miles... but they really don't throw too many hits, outside of Moreau. I'm impressed with his energy.
St. Louis
Nashville
Calgary
I'd take Vancouver over Edmonton.. and looking at the rest of the conference I'll say that Colorado was actually a decent choice. Edmonton though..
No, I kinda agree with him.. every team has some tough guys, but the difference is that few teams have skilled tough guys, nor are a team that plays a physical style.
Using that list, I could name 11 or more from the Stars quite easily as well:
Bertuzzi, Jovanovski, Brookbank, Ohlund, Ruutu, Cooke, Keane, May, Bouck, Grenier, Linden. (11) They don't all fight, but they aren't fun to play against.

Smith? Ulanov? Torres? These guy land HUGE hits every game. Even Laraque has been hitting more. I wouldn't put Vancouver infront of Edmonton for toughness. Better team, for sure. Scoring, absolutely, many other categories too, but team toughness I have to give the nod to Edmonton.

I think Edmonton and Vancouver are closer that you think but your points are well taken.
Montreal would probably make a Top5 "SSS" team hands down.
Small
Slow
Soft
Slow? I didn't knew that Markov, Koivu, Zednik, Ryder and Bulis were slow...
We have slow players, but the team is not that slow. And with players like Souray, Quintal, Komisarek, Ryder, Ward, Bégin, Langdon and even Rivet who are tough and you can add Koivu and Zednik who are pretty strong and rough we cannot say that the Habs are that soft...
Oh, my bad you must be talking about the Habs from 1 year ago..
