This is a good test for our defensive squad. We have to better in our own end then we were, thursday. Let's wish that Manny will rise to the occasion.

Here's hoping the B's defense settles down and is more careful about what they do with the puck.

Here's hoping that if Manny gets the start, he delivers.

Here's hoping we continue to see our forwards firing on all cylinders (proving that they didn't just take advantage of a bad night from Budaj).

Here's hoping the B's go to 2-0! Go B's!

Kobasew has a possible ankle fracture. He's out for probably a minimum of 3 weeks. Of course, MRI results are pending, but it doesn't look good.

The Sox will be taking a backseat (commercial flip) to the Bruins tonight. I don't care if it's the World Series, I love the Sox, but the Bruins are my life, I don't miss them for anybody.

I really wish they would move PJ to the 4th line already. Swap Wheeler to the first line off wing, move Nokie to the 3rd line RW and PJ moves to the 4th with Yelle and Thornton.

#1 goal tonight is definitely better defensive zone coverage

I think Lucic can do a lot of the things Kobasew can, but the skating is a clear difference.

Kobs is out indefinitely, according to Chia in the Globe

According to the Bruins, Chuck Kobasew is out indefinitely with a fracture in his right leg that he suffered in the second period of Thursday's 5-4 win over Colorado.

Because of the new rules regarding injury disclosure, clubs do not have to disclose specific information about where the injury is located and approximate time the player will miss.

But it's known that Kobasew took a shot off the right ankle, and that similar injuries shelve players for at least two weeks.

The Bruins' official announcement: "Out indefinitely with a fractured right leg suffered Oct. 9 in Colorado."

I have a question for any Canadian Center Ice subscribers. Do you get the games in high definition? I watched the Bs game on Thursday but it wasn't in HD. The game was on Versus but tonight it is on NESN & would love to see it in HD.
