Hedman or Cowen

With all this talk of Hedman, (what happened to needing to pick a forward with the first pick.) is he going to be better than Cowen. Pretty debatable. I personally like Cowen better. Closer to 6'6" and plays a bit more agressive. Not sure I would want a Brian Boyle-esk 6'7" Defense man.

Pronger or Chara

Not sure if you can compare them this way..

What so ya think who has more upside. I go with Cowen.

this is much closer to Pronger/Chara vs Foote if anything... and that's no knock to Foote...

Hedman is probably a fantasy, but a nice one.

Cowen, don't really know, never seen him play, thus its hard to care right now.

I'll be happy drafting any of Schenn/MSP/Kane, but will also be happy with a trade, which I expect.

Ideally Hedman. Realistically, Schenn or trade.

I to think DL will make a trade (on draft day). Not thrilled but I can see Lecavalier for #5 and Hickey. Tampa drafts Hedman, gets Hickey, and drafts #5 to get Kane. Thats a good deal for Tampa and helps us now.

Top six forwards
Lacavalier
Kopitar
Frolov
Brown
Williams
Stoll

As I have seriously lost hope in people who value unproven prospects more than guys who have already proven themselves at the NHL level and have won multiple trophies (Stanley Cup, Rocket Richard and King Clancy).

Who was the last Kings player to win a trophy of any kind?

Rob Blake......11 years ago!!!!!

I agree completely with the Cap'n, and that's something that happens few and far between. The bottomline is this, the Kings don't need anymore prospects. Let's make the ****ing playoffs already, and a guy like Lecavalier helps us get there.

Yuuuuuuup, just like he helped Tampa get there the last 2 years. He'll feel right at home here in LA finishing at the bottom of the West!
