I think he would be. He is still young, played in the NHL for a few seasons already, and he's cheap.

The reason I think is his lack of size and speed which makes him a poor choice for moving over to the wing.

send Stajan back to Jrs. Jesus, he needs it. But seriously, trade him. He's expendable. Not skilled enough to be a top six forward. Not great defensively enough to be a 3rd line center and can't even play the wing. He's just another body and that's easily replacable.

But what's another team gonna give up for him? No point in trading the guy for nothing, it sets a bad precedent for future deals where we actually want a good return.

One thing I noticed about Stajan is that he does that ever so effective stick check attempt quite frequently. As he is leisurely skating past a guy he'll sort of take a swipe at the guy as if to say "I'm going to make it look like I'm defending but you can keep the puck." He doesn't do it often but he was doing it a lot last night. With that being said, pretty much everyone on the team could be blamed of this but Stajan seems to be on the hot seat so he can not afford to be caught doing it.

I think if he at least had one or the other Wilson could make the move much like Antropov but unfortunately that's not the case. Trade him.

A late round pick would be enough IMO.

I've never been a Stajan fan. He doesn't do anything well. Just another guy.

Not everyone, in fact i doubt it was a majority.
I think the Stajan for captain comment was a ploy to encourage him to raise his level of play.It had zero positive effect however.
Might as well try sitting him and hope that lights a fire.

I could definitely see him sitting down for a Once A Leaf interview and turning up at Sherway Gardens for autograph signings or something.

That reminds me of one of the funniest comments I have ever heard on here when Andrew Raycroft was at a Best Buy for some sale and autographs, one user said why would they bring out raycroft to a sale because he clearly knows nothing about saving... hahaha

haha. I know but I guess I look for the best in people and I would've been the one saying I think the suspension will do something and put him on the right track. lol.

I love the fact that I replied to his reply and still did not realize that he didn't put either brain surgery or rocket science but rocket surgery.
