I wonder who that girl's dad and brother were who she said played in the NHL.

Now back to the more important subject, I hope that they have model judges picking the ice girls. As Kings fans, we deserve the cream of the crop...

Not enough high impact drills. If I was running the tryout, I would have lined them all up against the boards and had Dustin Brown and Denis Gauthier take runs at them. The ones without a broken pelvis get the job.

We better have the best looking crew out there, considering the amount of talent this city has.

they announced the Crew Friday mornin on KTLA

"The Los Angeles Kings will officially unveil their inaugural Ice Crew squad Friday, on the KTLA (Ch. 5) News Morning Show with reporter Allie Mac Kay."

Did not see it since I was on Bloomberg watching the DOW dive below 8K.

I got bored after about 3 seconds. Too much hairspray, make-up, fake tanning, and obnoxiously peppy behavior.

Colin Wilson (drafted by the Predators this past season) had a father named Carey Wilson who player for the Hartford Whalers and his father Jerry Wilson played 3 games for the Montreal Canadiens.

I am still looking for others.

The best part bout the KTLA segments was that they split the ice with the morning Stick Time Session, so on one half of the rink they were filming the ice girls, the other half had maybe 20 hockey players just standing around watching the girls.

Squid,

Funny but we both must not have lives because I was looking through the Hockey database to see who the 3 gens were too. I was thinking Wilson but Rick Wilson, Landon Wilson, but don't know if Rick's father played in the NHL. I know the Wilson's lived in Long Beach when he was an assistant coach for the King's.

I looked for like 30 minutes and still cannot find another 3 generation NHL family. So either they are a really obscure family or the girl is being told lies by her father/grandfather.

Did not think of that....or (an unlikely scenario) is that her grandfather on her mother's side played in the NHL and that would mean it is not truly a 3 generation NHL family. But what are the chances of the daughter of one NHL veteran marrying an NHL player themselves? and then having a son play in the NHL? 10,000,000:1???
