Maybe they don't, but for the young players it will do a lot for their confidence if they win today. They shouldn't put any extra pressure to win this game, but you bet that they want to win this game and every other game. It's just the competitive nature of the players and the coaching staff. If they have no competitive spirit than they better get the **** outta here.

Leafs have a Win and a Loss on the season .. I think its only fair for both sides of pro draft and pro team, that this game ends in an OTL. Losing in OT or Shootout would be good character building for the young players.

That would move our record to 1-1-1 on the season.

That pace puts us at 3 points in 3 games = 82 points in 82 games and would put us in the running for a TOP 5 pick.

They have free streams on nhl.com?

I had Krazee Koffee, supposedly the other horse likes it better the further he goes. 7YO though.

10 AM? Now that would be very weird. I'd feel like it's the Olympics or something.
When the WJC are played in Euro us West coasters have to get up early and watch Team Canada's games in the mornings. So I have practice cheering at this time of day.

When I am catching AM640 Leafs Lunch daily, its actually 9:00 am and I'm still sitting there drinking coffee and reading the morning paper.

The time difference is a big advantage because I can always watch my Leafs at 4:00 (my time) and then go see the Kelowna Rockets at 7:30 pst. So your 2:00 early time today is not much different then my usual time.

Anyone know what time the replay of the game will be at? I'm not going to be home to watch at 1:00pm

If that was me, I wouldn't be big on afternoon games. It'd screw up my day. I used to work 11-7 every day, too, so I wouldn't get to watch them. I guess it has advantages and disadvantages for both.

Ryan Hollweg in for Johnny Mitchell today as he returns from suspension..

Stralman still a healthy scratch as Frogren who took a shot to the knee the other day is good to go so the Defense remains the same.

Why is he in for Mitchell and why is Stralman still scratched?

Hollweg should be in and Stajan should be out.

He's a POS.

Coaches choice.

The other choice is Matt Stajan coming out and RW according to the Leafs TV line-up its Mitchell that drew the short straw today.

We will have to see if RW changes his mind after the pregame skate.. They are currently discussing that Mitchell/Stajan decision is not 100% confirmed yet.

Brad Boyes is likely to have a big game verses the Leafs today, coming home to Toronto.

He usually is a factor in Leaf losses each time he meets us, as a reminder of a former trade.

Mitchell has outplayed Stajan to date .. So it should really be Matty that is scratched in terms of fairness and contribution..

If that happens though then Mitchell will have to shift back to center from the wing and take the draws .. Face-off success early on has not been a Leaf strong point.

I assumed it would be Stajan. Maybe a last chance effort

Can't wait to see Stralman back though. It has to be an injury.

Ah, 1 o'clock hockey.

Nothing like a bit of afternoon delight for Thanksgiving Monday.
