Comrie hit form behind, no call.

Okposo immeditaly goes to the culprit and voices his displeasure. Leads to scrum.

Comrie with double minor for roughing.

Yup. Isles deserve the 4 minutes, but I find it's ******** the Sabres didn't get a penalty. Should be a 2 minute PP.

that was an ugly hit, but even though you're a foot shorter than the guy, ya can't start cross checking him in the head! and did anyone catch him try and hook his neck?

Yup. Had a nice forcheck on a PK. He's a smart player, needs to be more active in teh forcheck, which he did on the shift.

Gutsy clear by Jon Sim. Just urged that puck outta the zone. I liek this guy's game.

Nice play Neilsen. A little to much watching there, but Neilsen picks up the loose pass and moves it out and deep into the Sabres zone.

Beautiful kill. Only one shot surrendered.

Wrong, IMO. It's everyone's job.

And besides, Okposo is a big boy and not a waif who shouldn't get mixed up in things.

Absolutely a smart player. He looks good on the penalty kill with Hunter.

Agreed about Sim's game. Winning teams all have a guy like Sim.

To the teams credit, Comrie and really everyone jumped in too, just Okposo was closer. Nice to see though, thats what leaders do.

Exactly, TBK. Is it just me or am I agreeing with everything you say today?

Jaffe just said that b/c of the penalties, our skill guys haven't been on the ice much today. I'd say it is probably b/c our skill guys all retired a few decades ago and now work in other capacities. (Bossy, Trottier, etc.)

Good shot there by Tambellini at the end of the period. I was really hoping that one would go in for the kid.
