I'd rather play a team like N. Ireland or Bosnia then Portugal or France.

But maybe that's just me.

France I would be confident but Portugal have so many divers and we all know how refs are Anti-Russia in football.

I'd actually like to play Ukraine in playoffs if we play playoffs.

I thought it was 65k. I hardly see us getting 6 pts in Wells and Finland, I would settle for 4. I hope Welsh come out and play hard against the Germans and take some pts away.

Wales are terrible I saw them at home vs. Finland they are pathetic.

We play Finland away in June when our players will be 100% fit I really see 6pts.

If we get 6 then we finish first by beating the germans...

Have these guys been hanging out with Beschasnykh, Onopko, Karpin and the rest of those '90s a-holes?

Why are they continuing to play down to the competition?

I'm pissed at all of those guys.

Those 90s Russian teams had A LOT more talent then this team. They were also HUGE underachievers.

The 90s team played as individuals, not as a team.

90's were lacking real forwards. And if it wasn't for stupid Filimonov then Karpin would have brought Russia to Euro 2000 at the expense of France almost by himself...

Actually this week the goal was 6/6pts it's what they've done so it's ok. The key game is away in Helsinki in june .

Baltika off to a great start.

Baltika will finish first and then it's between Anzhi and Alanya

Portugal and Czech Republic are in real trouble.

Czechs lost to their little brother Slovakia at home and are now behind in their group by a large margin.

Portugal is in 3rd, with a lot of ground to make up. Swedes are in the same group and are pretty much toast.

Portugal are 4th and will be done if they don't win in Albania!!!

Czech well they have no one to replace Nedved Poborsky Galasek Koller Rosicky*

Portugal and Turkey should miss out wich will be no surprise considering how many times they failed to qualified for WC

Players have 2 months now to show what they are made of before the crucial game in Helsinki i'm expecting maybe up to 2-3 new call ups by then and 2-3 guys like Saenko maybe Sychev done...

Massive game tonight for Rostov.

Actually not really. They lost playoffs to LATVIA in 04 and then to Swiss in 06. And at the moment this Bosnian team is very good with 3-4 real top class players who are having mvp seasons in Bundesliga.

Turkey as qualified for how many World Cups in history 2 maybe? So really not a surprise.

2002 is a long way for that one most players are not there anymore Sukur Ilhan Korkmaz Basturk Sas Umit Akyel Tugay Alpay etc. And remeber in last Euro both Czechs and Croats choked late in games if not the Turks would have been out group stage first and then in 1/4...The thing is Bosnia is very strong that's why combining with Turkey's history in WC won't be a surprise.

Watch Wolfsburg this weekend you'll understand.

Rostov doesn't have much offensive fire-power, but their D is solid.

It's not very surprising, Khimki sucks. It wouldn't surprise me if they finish last.

Well Rostov have done good so far for the talent they have 5pts it's a good "lead" so far to stay up.

Too bad Khimki had a nice new stadium they'll end up in D2 !!!

Fairly good they should stay up. They beat a very mediocre Spartak side 1-0 in Krasnodar last matchday in front of 28 000+
