That was brutal. What is it with all of the Russian teams? A million chances and no ability to finish.

Porto beats Omsk Gaz-Myas 10-3 on aggregate. Another great moment in Russian futbol history.

people may deem me negative, but not at all! my POV: if u don't raise the issue and keep quite as though everything's great and fine - no changes for the better would come.

epic win by Rostov in 1/4 finals in Moscow over Dynamo, considering not so fair refereeing. (yellows 7 to 1 in favor of Rostov, Chesnauskis gets a second yellow for booting the ball after the whistle, while Kurani - not even a verbal scolding for the same offense) and what a goal by Draga Blatnyak to seal the game.

Semshov showed his dark side today, by swearing off the reffs after a PK and a red card. Possibly a long disqualification to follow.

Among all the Russian players, is there anyone that is standing out right now?

I haven't been impressed with anyone really.

no, dark times actually....there's been little positive this year so far - I wouldn't call Ionov a break out player since he's very raw, Burlak, Maksimov, Grigoryev, Kokorin, Kanunnikov are at least carving a niche for themselves in the PL. Yakovlev shouldn't have returned to Spartak and Valikaev shouldn't have left Rostov to go to spartak - both players are retarding their development.

Sorry cska. That was a tough loss.

Alania goes to the final of Russia Cup without scoring a single in-game goal in the whole tournament (Three 0-0 PK wins and a forfeit win).

I attended the CSKA 3-3 Spartak (5-4) match with an American expat who is not a fan of football but even he agreed It was superb

Last week I attended CSKA V Dynamo 2-2 really enjoying Russian football. Need to find a team to follow/support in both football and hockey maybe Basketball too. Maybe CSKA?

CSKA would be a great choice in football and basketball.

CSKA in hockey, however, isn't doing well. They do have excellent junior prospects, but I'm sure that richer clubs will take them away as soon as they are developed.

rumors are starting to come in that after the SO loss to Alania Protasov steped down as a coach.

My team in Serbia is Partizan and they have friendship with CSKA. Similar to how Spartak fans would go to Belgrade to support Red Star against Partizan. So it would be ideal to support CSKA...

Hopefully they can make the playoffs next season........

Torpedo fans wrote an open letter to the Mayor of Moscow:

I hope it works, but it doubt it.
