So, which new foreigner has been best so far? Meira? Carioca?

I know that Terek signed a really skilled Bulgarian, Blagoy Georgiev. Will be interesting to see how he performs.

Certainly not those 2... Spartak don't sign very good foreigners often.

So far none really apart from the guy who scored the winner for Terek maybe. And good game from the returning Carvalho.

We will have to wait some more games before judging the good recent imports.

For sure though Vagner Love is the best ever.

Last year I was very confident before the return leg vs. Marseille and the 1/2 vs. Bayern but now 0-2 lost away to Italian team + the missing players anyone thinks Zenit can still go trough?

I'm hoping they will, but it doesn't look very promising.

I doubt they'll be able to win 3-0, but maybe 2-0 and then take them on PKs.

Let's wait and see Zenit's 11 to say if they have chances they are decimated as for Cska Zhrikov's absence is huge but I think they can do it.

CSKA = Akinfeev / Berezutski-Ignashevich-Berezutski-Schennikov/ Mamaev-Krasic-Caner-Semberas / Dzagoev-Love it's not their top 11 but it should be good enough !

Zenit= Malafeev / KimDGin Krizanac Tymoschuk Sirl/ Denisov-Zyryanov-Semshov-Fayzulin/ Danny Pogrebnyak so they play with only 2 natural D let's hope the Italians sit back that could help Zenit...

Cska seemed lost without Zhirkov at least great fighting by Zenit. Well they have won it already it would have been good twice in such a short time. The best don't always win...now let's focus on WC qualifs and Russian Championship. Great Football to come. Congrats to Shakhtar and Dynamo.

Ukraine vs. France Battle.

Dynamo Kiev vs. Paris Saint Germain
Shakhtar Donetsk vs. Olympique Marseille

Both Ukrainians teams can go through and meet in the semis that would be great.

Personally, I like the fact that a team other then usual suspects (Spartak, Loko, CSKA, Zenit, Dynamo) has won the RPL.

Unless I'm mistaken, only once has a team other then those has won Russian championship before Rubin did it. And that team isn't in RPL anymore.

We need to generate more interest in Futbol throughout the country.

Ummm.....yeah, considering that he's one of the best players in the world at his position (either one of the 2 that he plays), he's A LITTLE bit important.
