proposal:Toronto Minny & Toronto Pheonix

To Phoenix:
Ian White
Ryan Hollweg/Matt Stajan

To Toronto:
1st in 09

then we take that pick and ship it

To Minny:
Phoenix 1st in 09 (If He Resigns)
Our Conditional 1st in 09 (Top 5 Save)
Nik Antropov
Carlo Coliacovo
Jimmy Hayes

To Toronto :
Marian Gaborik

This helps us because we get a good somewhat-young (26) star to build around for when we get some of our young stars developed.

NO. totally **** on every level.

Actually, you do get rid of Hollweg, that's a good thing.

Other then that, it's horrible. I wasn nice the first 5 ****** trades you came up with.

How does this help us?

We give up White, Hollweg/Stajan, Cola, Hayes, possible top 10 pick and Antropov for 1 guy. He's good but we are REBUILDING, if he doesn't sign with us, we'd give them Hayes, Cola, top 10 pick and Antropov for nothing.

Also, Phoenix would laugh in your face.

If our crap gets us 1st rounders, i'd love to see what you think Antropov will fetch.

Wrong on so many levels. Gaborik isn't worth trading away 5 players for. Just look at how many games he's missed with injury since 2003-2004.

First off, if Stajan/Hollweg + White gets us a first, Fletch is epic. If we did manage to get every Leaf fan's dream come true with 2 first rounders, especially giving up what we did, why then would we trade it away? Especially if we want to sign Gabby, we could have a shot at him for free. No, the first part is unrealistic (but would be sweet if it happened), and the second part is dumb for the Leafs. Picks are gold for us right now.

Coyotes will protect their pick like every other team.

I could see conditions on anything that involves a first, so if they want White and a prospect it would be for a non-lottery pick, perhaps protected top 10.

Not sure that White is who'd they'd be after, considering their youth and what they gave up in the Jokinen deal, maybe they'd go for a Van Ryn and prospect for their 1st.

NOOOOOOOO

mattystajan's offers is as good as Matt Stajan's play...

man you need your head examined.

Jimmy Hayes = Gary Roberts in his prime
Toronto's first round = B. Schenn
Pho 1st pick (top 20)

Antropov = another mid - late first round pick

Gabby = 60 healthy games per year = point per game 60 games = 60 points.

YOUR CRAZY

our entire future for a guy who's a panzy

Holleweg is way to valuable to this team to give up for a silly draft pick.

What about this:

To Phoenix:

Kulemin
Pogge
1st in '09

To Toronto:

Tellqvist

(keep in mind i'm not serious in this suggestion, but i've seen some more ridiculous trade proposals on here recently)

sorry

1.07 points per game

Check out his entire career stats. He usually doesn't play more than 65 or 70 games.

Stupid Stupid trade, any way you look at it, plus he wants to be an UFA next summer. So why trade for him???

'Grats to mattystajan who for once manages to put together a trade where the Leafs don't completely rip the other team off, (not the Phoenix one, that trade's just awful for the Coyotes). That said, there's no way we'd cough that up for Gaborik.
