I can't believe our goon is Iginla.
I don't mind seeing him fight, but not every night.
I'd rather see him score obviously.
Oh well, keep putting the puck on Budaj and we'll win. Stay out of the box.

If you were actually paying attention to the fight Iginla was pointing to his helmet asking McCormick to give him some time to take it off.

Only 5 minutes, we're still up. Relax, man. I enjoy seeing Igoonla fight.

With his history, its more likely he was pointing saying its staying on.

Don't worry, it's not the end of the world, but I agree with Ferraro and McKenzie, that this is a terrible trade-off for the Flames.

Right, that is why Mitchell and him both took the helmets off in their fight during Saturday's game.

With his history? Iginla usually removes his helmet if given the opportunity, unless his opponent doesn't.

Flames played hard out of the gate. Took their foot off the pedal towards the end. This team needs to understand a 60 min game. Too emotional for their own good.

I don't think it was so much that they took their foot off the pedal but the mental mistakes made - Regehr's (or was it Glencross?) turnover and Giordano taking himself out of position to make that hit.

Same little mistakes, they get too agressive/emotional which makes them look bad.

Too agressive (although I understand why he did it).

I am hoping this team can evolve beyond the individuals this year. I want team play this year. The D has no identity so far. Everyone seems to be playing for themselves instead of the team. The Bottom 4 of the D needs to step up and play for the team. I'll never question Regehr but ever since Hammerdick left they have lacked that D cohesion.
A lame penalty from Sarich gives the Avs a chance to tie.
