How about tonight? Is Robidas ok? How bad is that injury?

Lower body (day-to-day)

Best info the Stars have released which means no one really knows.

DMN blog makes it sound like a no go on all the injured guys tonight with the chance that Sutherby and Fistric could return Saturday.

I guess Robidas isn't Day-to-Day anymore. From the same report Kritter was talking about:

Quote:
"[Sutherby and Fistric] had a real good workout today," Tippett said, "and we'll see where we're at after that. Everybody else is longer term than that."
I wouldn't plan on him or Daley coming back. If they do, it'll be on the final road trip of the season (last 3 games).

Things like that inspire my "coaches are liars" school of thought, at least in regards to IR.

It's clear Daley and Robidas (and hell, Sutherby for all the time he's been out) aren't truly day-to-day. But they will be listed as such for the rest of the season.

Add Turco to the injured list. Day-to-day with a lower body injury.

I think i remember that injury actually. In the 3rd he went post to post on a failed pass attempt and he sat there for a second as the D man cleared the puck.

This is BS:

Quote:
Ott-Ribeiro-Lehtinen
Morrison-Wandell-Eriksson
Neal-Modano-Conner
Lundqvist-Begin-Brunnstrom
Parrish-Sutherby-Wilson
http://www.andrewsstarspage.com/inde...7/1307-2008-09

Brunnstrom has his best game so they bury him with 2 spares.

I try not to think about it because all it does is piss me off. I don't wish ill of Begin or Lundqvist, but neither are offensively gifted.

Again Neal and Bruno had a nice game together, so let's break them up?

Really this makes no sense. Conner does not deserve a spot ahead of Fabian. Tippet is a moron and cannot be fired soon enough.

Horrible. Try this:

Ott-Ribiero-Eriksson
Neal-Wandell-Brunnstrom
Morrison-Modano-Lehtinen
Lundqvist-Begin-Wilson/Conner

Give the kids a chance to find some chemistry together and give them bigger minutes than Modano who's already mailed this season in. What a joke.

Why are you so pissed off? You're the one who wants them to tank so badly.

Yes I want them to lose. I also want them to play all the younger guys as much as possible so they are better prepared for next season. Neal still has things to learn. God knows Brunnstrom does. Same for Wandell. Giving more minutes to Ribiero, Modano, Morrison, Lehtinen, and other vets at this time doesn't "help" the team. Giving the kids time and opportunities just may.

Who cares if they lose 6-4? At least valuable experience will be gained too.

Did he injure it again in the Blues game or is it a holdover from the uncalled boarding in the Kings game?

He didn't look like he was moving all that well against the Blues, but he got the game winner on a nice rush to the slot.

I guess that means Vishnevskiy is in tomorrow?

That's what Andrew's and DMN is reporting (about Vishnevskiy).

Think he was trying to play with it (DMN confirmed that after I read it).

Still good for him to get the GWG in his last game of the season.

Looks like Sutherby will be returning tomorrow as well.
