The new and improved Andrei Kostitsyn

Is he what we could call a power forward now?

He goes to the net, he hits, he fights in the corner, he scored..

He's still slightly perimeterry (not a real word) in his play.. but.. when he, Patces and Lats all become NHLers.. this team might have some serious PF mojo.

I was wearing my AKost jersey during the game. I rock.

But the question is, on Wednesday when I go to the Bell Centre... AKost, or Hamrlik (which jersey do I wear)?

That depends. Are you going to be accompanied by a guy or a girl.

If you're on a date. Go Hammer.. cuz he's dreamy.

If its a guy's night out.. take AK.

I really liked the way he played tonight! His goal was awesome! The hit, the turnover, the laser beam in the net!

And the nifty little pass to Kovalev on Hammer's goal!

Little bro wasn't bad either... nice pass to Lang on the goal... And at least one open-ice hit again!

He WAS dreamy when he was a kid, now he looks like a hobo that forgot to shave.

That goal was awesome, and he didn't just hit anyone, Mike Richards, one of the better two way centers in the league.

We saw it in preseason and tonight he just confirmed it.

the good thing is, his hit lead to his own goal. I think that's what you call positive enforcement (bad translation renforcement postif lol...)

He has even more potential, he needs to shoot it more often. At the end of the game he shot another rocket but over the net. He has good hands and a good shot, he is still young though. He is also a good passer, you saw the pass he made to Kovy?

I'm going with Seb. He's kind of effeminate...

I'll reserve my opinion before I see PPG season from Andrei. But he seems to be on the right track. Here is to 80pts season

Yes, to answer your question AD..

I'm gonna say the same thing I mentioned in the polls thread on him..

AK is starting to hurt people when they get the puck before him in the corners, he's developing a big time mean streak and seems like he enjoys the punishment. Not PF level yet but getting there.

Gerard Gagnon on Radio-Canada :

Andrei Kostitsyn is not a power forward...

Let me analyse Andrei's talent: he is an adaptative power forward, he's like "attaching" new ways to play to his basic talent, making him better year after year, this is the reason why he should have been a 6th pick

Maybe it's his mullet hair. It's starting to complement his style of play.

He's the closest to being a PF on the team.

Bit worried about him actually. He gets clocked every few games and has a tendency to get hit in the middle of the ice. He needs to watch himself a bit more.
