I can understand why Mara flipped, especially considering the history. Questionable late hit by that bum Kaleta, left his feet, hands up high. Had it connected, Mara would probably've eaten non-solid food through a straw again for some time.

I'm done.
Yeah, it would've been nicer to see Orr crosscheck Kaleta's teeth out the back of his head.

Well as I've read it they've been morons until they've won.

And that will continue until they lose.

I hope that the team team wins.

staal looks to be pushing the puck alot tonite. when he gets a head of steam hes a load and he has excellent stick skills with the pill. hes been flying all night.

Um...because he didn't even hit him?

If I was an NHL player I'd probably want to lay a beating on Kaleta as well but if he wanted to legitimately challenge Kaleta, he shouldn't have just started to unload on him. If Mara waits a second or two Kaleta likely drops the gloves (and gets fed because he really isn't the best fighter), they would both get penalties and this would be a complete non-issue.

Mara chose the selfish route by jumping Kaleta in the offensive zone no less. He deserved the penalties he got.

He lost his cool, but it was justified and clean. I'd rather him do what he did rather than do what Kaleta or Hollweg does. He was punching and Kaleta could have fought back, dodged, or wrestled him off, but instead decided to be a little ***** and turtle up.

That was as bad a turnover in the offensive zone as you'll see, and it leads to a SHG.
