On Wednesday, if Higgins and Laraque are back in the line up. who will be demoted to the press box ?
Dandenault, for sure.
Who else ? Bégin or Kostopoulos ?

AK46 - TP14 - AK27
GL84 - SK11 - AT13
CH21 - RL20 - SK74
TK6 - ML40 (Although i would like KC28) - GL 17

Agreed.
I think we know who Carbo likes more by who's playing on the 3rd line right now. Also, Kostopoulos has been our best penalty killer up to this point.

Nope.
Begin, Dandenault, Brisebois.
The three single worst players of the first three games.

100% In agreement. I would also like to see Chipchura play 4th line center. I know Lapierre is a better skater and more physical, but I find Lapierre is often out of position and a bit eratic/wild with his play.

Brisebois will not play over O'Byrne, it doesn't matter because I don't think Bouillon is due back anyway.
From what I read, Higgins was targeting Wednesday's game to comeback. I read that on yahoo yesterday but we'll see if he does.

I think O'Byrne, Brisebois, Dandenault, Lapierre and Begin could all be scratched.
Replace them by Higgins, Bouillon, Laraque, Chipchura and a top-4 D acquired via trade.
A.Kostitsyn - Plekanec - Kovalev
Latendresse - Koivu - Tanguay
Higgins - Lang - S.Kostitsyn
Kostopoulos - Chipchura - Laraque
*Begin, Dandenault, Lapierre
Markov - Komisarek
Hamrlik - Top-4 D
Bouillon - Gorges
*O'Byrne, Brisebois
Price/Halak

Gorges
IS a Top-4 defenseman, in my opinion. The only reason that O'Byrne has more minutes right now is because Gorges is paired with Brisebois, who is our weakest defenseman at this point.
Maybe others don't feel Gorges is capable of that position, but I sure do. I think he's fantastic.

Nope. By chance we're replacing them by 2 Quebecers (Bouillon is considered a Quebecer...) though...it might help...

Bouillon is considered an American by the IIHF.

That's alright, there is absolutely no danger that he will be playing in any international hockey tournament any time soon.

Who do I want to see out, or who will be out? Two very different questions. If it were me, Laraque and Higgins are in, while Dandenault and Lapierre are out. I would even like to get Chipchura in for Begin versus most opponents. However, I'm sure this is how it will play out:
- Higgins/Laraque in; Dandenault/Kostopoulos out (Begin was +4 vs. Philly and apparently Carbo was happy with Lapierre's game yesterday, so you do the math)
- Once Bouillon is back, Chipchura to Hamilton (what a shame, but he doesn't have to clear waivers) and O'Byrne/Brisebois alternate sitting based on the opponent.

I've been pretty impressed by O'Byrne so far. I doubt he'll get benched.

Tony on 990 just said he received an email from "a good source" saying we should expect to see him in the lineup.
