Zeiler back

http://www.insidesocal.com/kings/

Kings have to make a decision whether to send him down through waivers or keep him on the roster I guess right...? If they keep him ONE of Moller, Simmonds, Boyle, or Moulson has to go down...unless they trade or waive Calder.

I'd say out of all the young guys and reading TM's quotes over the past few days, it would be Boyle who heads down to Manchester.

Send Zeiler down, and pray that some team picks him up on waivers.

Sending Boyle down is ridiculous. The obvious choice to be sent to Manchester since Zeiler is back is Zeiler himself. I don't see anyway Murray changes the lineup from last game save for maybe Quincey.

With a three year, one way contract, the risk of Zeiler being taken on waivers is low.

Why the hell was it necessary to give this guy such a long contract? This one baffles me.

I'll be pissed if it's not Zeiler that's sent down.

For the sake of the team, I hope it's Zeiler that is sent down. As for the contract, it baffles me.

Good news!

As previously posted, John Zeiler skated today, but took it relatively easy. He will continue skating for the next couple days but isn't on the verge of game action or anything like that.

Either way, even if Zeiler doesn't come back or goes to AHL, how much longer are Calder and Richardson going to be healthy scratches...?

Someone has to budge on the forwards...dealt, waived or to the minors for someone.

As much as I love the potential maybe it is best to send Boyle down to work on his game?

The ice time he is getting here may not be enough to allow him to mature as a player and develop the skills he needs (using his size, not being physical necessarily).

Perhaps sending him down in an environment where he can dominate and be given the opportunity to develop his skills would bendit him more?

This would allow us to play Calder or Richardson, who don't have the same upside as Boyle. In the meantime we can work on a way to get rid of zeiler or calder, but no one may want them.

(of course, benching Zeiler is a given)

Never Been a Zeiler fan....

I see our lil puppy on crack not getting alot of love here!
Poor lil pup! I like the make up of the team as is for now...
Definately agree with most of you as you say send him down to the narchs!

For some reason I just think the Management ( maybe the Great Karnack himself, ie Lombardi ) is in love with him! He gets alot of chances with this team! He might be a Deano kinda guy? Very very scarry! Holloween is approaching after all!

Will be interesting to see what comes out of the Turbin in this reguard!

I think Zeiler needs a "conditioning assignment".

O Hell Yea! I'm interested to see if he switches up his game at all and has improved his hit timing. spending a little bit of time with d.brown could do wonders for him i imagine.

That would actually be a pretty awesome move, doubt WAS does it though. Steckel is a pretty awesome bottom six player these days, played like 4+ mins pk a game last year and put up A LOT of hits/bks/tka.

Send down Boyle and put Richardson back in the lineup IMO. Zeiler is most useful as a healthy scratch when we're healthy and a fill-in when we're not. Richardson and/or Boyle are wasted as healthy scratches, so we ought to ensure they're both playing most nights, even if it isn't in LA.
