amazing save by Turco to keep the game even :O
Niskanen really screwed up there, and Turco bails them out... nice to see he's on his game tonight

Loui Eriksson has been less than impressive this season, I wonder how much longer they'll put up with his inconsistency with the logjam at forward?

Looked like Legace closed down and he had his stick lifted by the defenseman, although Im not watching on my DVR so I could be mistaken.
What do you expect from Eriksson....3 goals?

nice recovery by Boucher, that has to be a good sign for his progress coming off that injury...
*ugh this faceoff thing is going to come back and haunt the Stars
Ribeiro, Modano, and Peterson are lucky to win one out of every 3 faceoffs it seems...

That wasn't even a good shot or anything, I'm seriously surprised Marty didn't stop that, he should not be playing tonight. They're going to overplay him all season and he'll suck even more come playoffs.

Daley is freaking magical. He's stolen Boucher's shot mojo.

Trevor Daley! the Stars are back in striking distance
Go Stars! even it up before the intermission!
*ok I guess it was Barch - well done Krys, that's probably the only goal you'll get all season

The 1st line is looking dangerous at least even if Ribs did make that terrible turnover.

our legs are going to give out before the Blues' tonight so we need to even this thing up asap. It's only going to get harder as the game goes on..

I'd consider that a pretty weak period, we don't look like we're on the right track on D, let's hope the best 2nd period team in the NHL does something to blow us away.

yeah the Stars weren't really outplayed there, they just had a couple horrible plays that lead to Blues goals... I have every confidence the Stars are going to get back in this game in the second - that's our period

You know I don't think the defensive problems are really attributable to the defense itself... it's more neutral zone turnovers and Turco causing problems IMO.
