New rink, new team, in Merida Mexico

Merida mexico has opened a new rink and has a new team starting up in the city.

(I don't have a link but when I go back I'll take a picture.)

They're hoping for a few mens teams since some Expats live there, and then possibly some minor teams.

I lived in Merida for 2 years in the 90's and plan to some day retire there. It's a great city. Hockey will only make it greater!

Sharpeners are all over the city, having their tools mounted on bikes. I'm sure they will quickly adapt to sharpen blades if the demand rises...

I'm really not sure, I was living in Merida and they just got a rink. I never had a chance to go to any games since I was usually only in other cities for ball.

Though, when i go down in Dec, I'll check it out.
