I was lucky enough to be at that game 2 rows up, center ice, behind the penalty boxes and let me tell you, that was one of the most emotional things i've ever been through in my life. You couldn't help but cry...
That ovation started during the warmup and didn't stop right through to the puck drop.
I thought the same thing and my heart sunk into my chest. Change the title. When I saw the Koivu return on t.v. live it made me tear up but now it just makes me happy.
I voted No, I'm not a sissy because the poll is public.
We got you big guy..
come here. I'll give you a hug.
Where's the option: "Well.. I'm not really emotional but that night, I cried like the first time I tried having sex at 13 with a much older lady that kept calling me puppy dog"
Edit: nevermind

that the issue with my new GF she's older than me and she keeps calling me Puceau or virgin in english
I thought I was gonna have some turrs last night when Gainey's spot on the Ring Of Honor was announced; a great ovation, one of true appreciation.
May Gainey bless us all.
It wasn't a real emotional moment for me, but it was one of those things that mad me smile for about 10 minutes. There's been some great guys around the team over the years and it brings back a lot of memories to see guys like Shutt, Robinson, Lapointe an dthe rest of them.
Even Lach and Bouchard totalling 180 years had a bit of a spark if you looked closely enough.
My Dad was commenting on how old Butch looked, I didn't say anything, as I guess Mom's removed the mirrors in their house.

*Note to self, do not drink coffee while reading mcphee's posts*
I was emotional during the Koivu tribute. But it was more of a pumped up feeling. I was so happy and excited about his return, that I felt energized enough that I could have ran through a brick wall.
During the ceremony last night when Lach and Bouchard were brought out to center ice..did bring a tear to my eye though.
