Will our offensive depth hurt Higgins?

In his negociations with the team for his RFA contract this summer?

With some of the lines clicking already, it may be difficult for him to find top 6 icetime.

The team is going to improve by a lot when Higgins comes back. If you think its good now, Higgins makes us even better. He scored 27 goals last season and fires the puck at an alarming rate. No matter what line, no matter how much PK or PP time, Higgins will be a machine.

Will our offensive depth hurt Higgins? Not right now, especially if Andrei is out for any length of time.

I think it's his groin hurting him.

If Andrei is out, which, as of now looks like he will be indefinitly.. Look for Higgins to be on the first line with Plekanec/Kovalev.

I don't think so... He'll take advantage of playing vs. opponent's bottom defensive pairing...

I'm eager to see where Higgins is going to play. I hope he'll be playing with Plek and Kovy because if he clicks with them, a '' 3rd line'' of Skost-Lang-Akost(when he comes back) would be awsome.

Tanguay and Kovalev could be out of the books. So, no.

Higgy has his place in the line-up before a lot of others if you ask me... You win cups with guys like this. I don't think he'll ask for too much though...maybe Ryder money (when he was here). Komi will fetch more. I see 2.5 to 3 mill a year for him on a short term deal. 3.5-4 on long term.

I'd be really pissed to see a guy like him go! Captain material. Good both ends of the ice. Speedy. Good goal scorer. Loves the team etc...

He'll stay. Or fetch us something really good. But I'll be pissed whatever the return will be because I like him and the chemistry.

scored 27 goals...on an OFF year.. imagin THIs year

i have to say..his injury at the begining of this year is kind of a blessing, because deep down i knew higgins on the koivu line would be great, but, i wanted guillaume to get a shot at LEASt and hes doing JUST fine, now imagin higgins playing with lang and sergei instead of kostopoulos...thats ours 3rd line?.. are u .. kidding??

as someone put it.. higins is needed...hes only going to make us BETTER..and were 4-0-1....

The depth won't hurt the Habs. All it will do is is push Kostopoulos down to the 4th line once Kostitsyn returns. TK deserves to play ahead of Bégin or Dandenault.

Higgins got the priapism disoreer, i think we might want to get rid of him before the other teams learn about it.
