Plekanec can't carry the puck. Andrei can't get the puck. Kovalev won't let go of the puck. They'll put it together at some point, but it isn't fun watching them right now for the most part.

lol @ Cherry not wanting to show the clips of Ryan "The Barbarian" Hollweg hitting people from behind because he's on the Leafs.

Very little to improve on in that period. One average PK and a miscue or two.

I'm all kinds of happy with that effort.

Man I hope we see less of the 4th line, they are pretty bad, cannot get the puck out of their zone (not helping when Carbo puts Breezby on D behind them), brutal.

Sigh. No, that's just plainly wrong.

Don hates Hollweg. He came as close to villifying Simon for that slash as I've heard anyone. He was asking why he doesn't get more games for being such a repeat offender.

He doesn't want to show the clips because that piece of **** is a disgrace to hockey and we have a bad enough rap as it is without replaying his hits over and over.

You guys are being blinded by the score so far. Sure we're playing better, but the point is, the Plekanec line is still not giving a great effort consistently.

But hey... I'm often focussing on negatives. I still think they'll put it together sooner than later. But right now it's not going good for them.

Sounds like Koivu will drag that second line back up to #1. Another two points and wow suprise suprise it looks like old Lats leechs out an assist. Good for him.

No and last year we would of been ****ed...

This year however, we have enough depth to compensate for the shortcomings of one of the lines

Usually, I'm watching CBC to avoid Yvon/Pierre/Benoit

It should be fine....but I just have that feeling that the Pleks line doesn't work the same way since now they know that there's 2 other lines that could really step it up.

Feels to me that they loved the pressure to be THE line and now that they're not anymore, well they are just doing their little thing.

Hope it's just a question of time.

Habs don't do defensive shells so well, so I'd like to see us show some intensity in trying to expand our lead. We were much too passive and soft Wednesday, almost expecting things to go our way and when Boston pressed, the momentum got lost. This time, let's pretend it's still tied. Seems to work when we're in tie or 1 goal games. When we're up by 2 or 3, things tend to get a little too easy going for my liking. I've seen it last year, but the payoff series we were in should have taught the team to never get too comfortable and rely on talent alone.
