This game is not on tsn or sportsnet.

Anyway, I think the Habs will win this one 3-2.

Wait a minute, isn't Markov in tonight?

Anyway, should be a great game. 3-1 Habs I'll say.

Hopefuly the habs can solve Raycroft this time. The last 3 games we playde them he held us in chek. Zednik in my opinion is bound to get his 20th goal. If he plays the same way he did vs Ottawa he well get it, it just a matter of time.

Guys, you may have noticed this posted on the Bruins board...its great advise so i'm reposting it here, with a few modifications:

Habs fans... please don't feed the trolls. Any team's fans are entitled to post whatever they like as long as they don't break any of the guidelines, JUST LIKE YOU (Habs fans). If a Bruins fan comes 'round and posts something that you don't necessary like (maybe even just because they're not a Bruins fan), and your knee-jerk reaction is to slam the hell out of them, DON'T DO IT because they won't be breaking any guidelines, but YOU will be.

In addition, don't go over to the Bruins board and smack-talk or otherwise bait the natives there. We can't protect you from yourselves if you decide to troll on another team's board... in other words, if you go trolling on other teams' boards, it's quite likely that the moderators there won't put up with it and they'll have every right to take the appropriate actions to resolve the situation.

Bruins fans... you're welcome to participate in the game thread, but don't post stuff that will incite the natives here on the Habs board. You're in enemy territory... walk on eggshells -- you want to discuss the game and give your opinions on players and the game, please feel free to do so, but just remember which board you're on. Things you could openly and freely say on your home board may not get the sort of reaction you're looking for (unless you're looking to tick off the natives -- and if that happens, chances are lots of warnings, edits and deletions of posts would end up occurring, and it doesn't need to be that way).

----------

I'm not going to be around during the game, but i'm hoping that re-posting this will guide some of you in the right direction. Enjoy the game, enjoy some debate...just remember, don't feed the trolls and don't do any trolling on the B's board. If you can't handle them talking smack about our guys, then don't visit their board. If you notice any trolling on the Habs board, feel free to PM a mod, like i said before, don't waste your time with trolls...we'll take care of them.

I'll be at the Sens/Flyers game tonight, but rest assured that i'll be watching our guys on TV as much as possible! :p

Raycroft didn't play in all those games. As I recall, Potvin played twice.

Your right. Potvin played the 2 first games winning 2-0 and losing in overtime 1-0 on a beautiful shot by Juneau.
Raycroft has played the last 2 getting a 1-1 tie and a 1-0 win.
The Bruins are 2-0-1-1 against Mtl this year and both teams were unable to score some goals. (6 goals by both teams in 4 games)
The Bruins haven't score a goal in their last 2 games. Maybe they are waiting for tonight to explode? i hope so...

You are correct!!...It's time for the Canadiens to show Raycroft that he really is only a rookie after all!!...But one must remember, like it or not, the Bruins play a solid defense in front of their goal tenders, image if we had such stong defense!!

So what???...Actual shot numbers mean nothing without taking into account the quality of shots allowed. The last time Montreal played Boston was a good example. If I recall correctly we outshot the Bruins badly but lost the game. IMO we had very few quality chances as the Bruins defense kept us mostly to the outside. I don't think there ever was a time in the game where we got a second shot right after the first shot.

I meant the games that Raycroft played againts us. 1 shutout + 2 games that mtl scored only 1 goal vs him. But both potvin and Raycroft seem to play well againts us. Hopefuly it stops tonight.

Just heard Dany Dube on CKAC. Apparently Markov travelled all night just to get to Boston and hasn't slept much and they will evaluate his case after the warmup. If he has enough energy to go, he's in.
