Yes, there is standing room at ACC. It's open for every game, as far as I know, and not so bad. Part of your view of the scoreboard will be obstructed, but there are TVs that will take care of most of that for you. The TVs show the LED screens, so I think all you end up missing is some of the in-game presentation stuff (shots on goal and penalty clocks should be visible to you on the TV.) I sat up there once a few years ago... Oh wow that's gotta be like 6 years now. My first non-Jets NHL game.
The very top row of seats, from what I've been told, goes on sale to ACC employees only. Since I've never worked there myself, I'm not sure if that applies to the whole arena, just one side, just one section, etc. But there is definitely some truth to that. Don't have my stubs from games where I've sat in those seats as a guest, so I'm not 100% sure where your seats are. Either way, you'll be okay and it'll be a great game.
Okay, I know this probably isn't the greatest place to post this, but..
I just purchased tickets on stubhub for the Habs leafs game at the ACC on November 8/08
So I buy these tickets, Section 312, pretty high, I know.. I wanna see a habs game.
So, once I've already ordered and everything, it says its standing room on the order confirmation..
I didn't even know there was standing room at hockey games..
Is standing room okay? or whats the deal?
Its Section 312S row 19.
Just ask any Leafs fan for their seat. As a fan of a vastly inferior franchise/team, it's their duty to give their seat Don't forget your "Grabovski?lol" sign.
and yeah, there's a standing section at the ACC, it's legit

hey man, im actually in the same boat as you..my friend and me got a pair for that game, section 319 (i believe) standing room (for the bargain basement price of 125 tax in each:s)..
from what ive read standing room isnt that bad. its like the last row of the molson section, you can see all the action on the ice. plus people are madd rowdy...juss make sure u dont get tickets that have an "x" besides them. those mean obstructed view (the press box i beleive is in ur way)..either way though, if u see a brown guy decked out in habs gear going buck when we score feel free to come by and slap my hand
