haha, I just read that too on tsn.ca..............minor moves all around

Atleast they admitted they were wrong signing him .........and he is freaking gone.............Vancouver has tons of guys hurt and other teams will too so he should get picked up

Even if he is not they are not going to bring him back through re-entry and have the cap hit so I hope for his sake he gets signed

Bring up a 7th Dman now and we can all stop.........Rissmiller makes 1 million and Fahey makes 500,00

Guys....Habfan here...

Was he that bad? I know that I kinda liked him in his San Jose days.....but all those posts in that thread makes me think that either I was mistaken him with somebody else or his play regressed by a lot....

He's played in one and a half games so far for the Rangers and has looked terrible. It's really not that he's a bad player it's just that we have an incredible surplus of 3rd and 4th line players.

Hopefully now we can bring up a 7th dman.

Hard to say, he's barely played and been injured.

Rissmiller would have been a staple on the 4th line for the Rangers last year. He ran into a LOT of competition this year though, most of which brought more to the game than he did in his time here.

I don't think he was terrible, but he was very redundant. He's obviously not a 1st-3rd liner on this team, so the only place we could fit would be the fourth line, and the Rangers already have that line set with better players than him. I heard he's a good PKer, but again, the Rangers have one of the better PKs in the league and seem to be fine in that department as well. He was basically ending up as a waste up cap space and a roster spot. Best of luck to him elsewhere.
