Exactly. There's no logical reason to love one more than the other right now.

Amazing how different it would be if Downie wasn't sent down and a NHL-debut wasn't being made on the first line without earning it...

You're saying Nodl didnt deserve being called up at all? Or just the amount of time hes been playing?

Has nothing to do with love... One is NHL back up one is a starter.

You are all over Frank on a rebound he left while both d-men let the forward through.

I'm not so sure I agree with that. From my limited time on this board it's easy to see there is 2 camps. We see from a different perspective when our guy is in the pipes. It's been like that forever way before the internet.

We don't have a clear cut starter right now.

Marty had a GREAT ending for sure last year. He STOLE the Habs series.

Nitty wet the bed tonight, we needed help in the 1st, and he just could not stem the tide of our failed defence.

I guess whats so disapointing is where is that guy?

Just keeping it fair. Everyone's all over Biron when he's been better in this game statistically. He didn't allow 4 goals in a period but he's the one getting bashed.

The amount of time he's been handed. Downie gets sent down because he hasn't earned his playing time, but Nodl gets thrown right onto the first line.

I'm not saying he hasn't played well, the double standard is just humourous.

Flyers forgot how to forecheck and draw penalties.

Briere with a night off.

downie should be in, but nodl looks fine. i think the flyers were pretty set on richards/hartnell/lupul, so nodl is the only logical choice for that "first" line. i don't want asham there, obviously, and i think the chemistry between carter and upshall is obvious

I can't remember how many times over the past few seasons I've heard other teams announcers talk about new franchise records for their team in goals scored, shots, etc.

4 minutes for roughing? Great, down to 1 competent centre for the rest of the game (Briere's done nothing tonight).

I know your a big downie guy, and im not, (not saying it wasn't BS him getting sent down).

However Nodl does have an assist thus far, and yeah, this is just a ****ed up game with all the scoring, so i bet downie would have at least a point as well.

Point is, cant blame Nodl for just playing hard when given the opportunity.

Biron did not face 4 PP and Lupul did not skate away from the puck on him.

I am not all over Biron. Why? Everyone knows those were bad goals.

Just a bad bad offside. What idiots for wasting 15 seconds of powerplay time.
