Tiebreakers - From NHL.com
1. The fewer number of games played (i.e., superior points percentage).
2. The greater number of games won.
3. The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs. If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing.
4. The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season.

I don't see anyway Neal and Crombeen get taken off Modano's line. I guess when Lehtinen comes back, Crombeen will probably get stuck on the 4th line because no one else in the Top 9 would.
I doubt Morrow will spend the season with Richards, but I don't think that experiment will end tonight. I would bet Ribeiro and Morrow are reunited when Lehtinen is healthy. Also, I really don't see the lines changing at all from last game, even with Petersen coming back. Last Saturday when Ott returned, Petersen received the healthy scratch and not Barch.
There's a 5 page thread on Avery getting beaten up on the Devils board.
Anyone else feel like he's sort of a separate entity going about his business? Not enough time or impact to really feel like he's a Star yet. And then you have all these surreal sideshow news stories coming out every day it seems. It was like the Rangers vs. Avery and now the Devils vs. Avery.
Dallas needs to get out to a good start tonight. New Jersey may be able to match the Stars toughness but I think we have the advantage in speed if we choose to use it by getting a strong forecheck going..
get it done Stars! 2 points would be huge going into Long Island tomorrow..
