I think it's great. The best players in Detroit are great on the PK. Our highest paid players should be able to play in all situations.

well Morrow seemed to come around last game and Ribeiro has been giving it a good try all season..

They have a ton of experiance playing with one-another, that's got to count for something.

**PP still struggling to generate offense I see, what else in new

Yeah, they both started playing well, for 2 games, since they were separated.

No reason to rush 'em back. They will play together again.

come on Dallas, 1 shot in a period isn't going to come close to getting it done tonight.

They need to get some shots through, New Jersey is doing a great job of pressuring the Stars in the attacking end and taking away shooting lanes..

wow Fistric actually had a good shift there.. 2 blocked shots and a massive hit on Colin White.

Dallas hasn't really been outplayed this period so far, it is looking alot like yesterday night..

Dallas has to kill this thing off, go into the break down only 1.

Razor just referenced that Ott is still struggling with the groin injury, hence the scratch.

that period could have been alot worse... it's nice to see Dallas got some shots through in the last few minutes.

If Dallas keeps on playing the body against New Jersey they will get their chances to even the game up.

Avery's contract may be a little steep, and I hope Hull and Jackson are right that he will pick his offense up.

BUT … I can see though that he could really help the team. He hasn't really taken a night off, he's only had one bad turnover that I can remember (but what Star hasn't to start the year), and he really has looked good with the puck. I hope he just picks up on the finishing ability.

I like him.

Very high energy Devils team out there tonight. Nice to see Mike Mottau once again, too.

Slow start in the first for the Stars, but that's par for the course.

Great non-call by the refs with Clarkson backing into Turco. If that was Avery on Brodeur it would've been a game misconduct.

I don't mean to troll, just a Rangers fan waiting for some old Avery Brodeur action...good smarts by Avery in that little tango with Clarkson to keep his cool. A lot of people who don't know about Avery only think he takes penalties, but he's definitely up there in penalties drawn throughout the league.

Let's go Stars!

Probably one of Avery's best periods as a Star, was right there in the 1st vs NJ.

Loui also lookin great early.

lols in Philadelphia.

Flyers and Sharks tied at 3 in the 1st period, still.

Edit: Check that 4-3 SJ.

Avery always shows up against Brodeur. I can already tell he's driving him crazy what with the punch to the back of the head and all. You can really tell he's also getting under Clarkson too.

It's a good sign that Fistric's running over people. That element was missing early on during his struggles.

yeah there were definetly some good signs in the first.. Dallas still has to open it up a bit to get inside this New Jersey defense. You don't want to leave it until the 3rd against a team like the Devils...
