If your going to go with that plan just scratch Niskanen completely he can't even skate at all.
It takes him so long to get started again once he stops and he has no balance, this all started in the home game against Nashville when he took the puck off of his leg.

True. Is Janik injured? Why can't he sub in?

His face is still messed up I think. He needs to get healthy though so we can have a solid dman.

Janik's eye is giving him problems.
The options are someone that can't skate or someone that doesn't have full vision. It makes you wonder why they don't call someone up.
The cap isn't a issue here either they still haen't used all of Zubov's daily exception and Lehtinen can be placed on long term IR once they do use Zubov's.
It's like last season they had Boucher playing through the shoulder injury for the first two months instead of bringing up Fistric and having Boucher have the surgery right away.

Read on Tracey Myer's blog this morning that he was skating, but still had a tough time opening his eye all the way.

Hockey brainfart...Can you only have 1 player on LTIR at a time?

I doubt it.

Philly's had Hatcher and Rathje on at the same time, and I think NJ had a couple there once as well.

So why wasn't Lehtinen on LTIR? Didn't he meet the requirements?

Because Lehtinen is no where near as far away as Zubie is....

The team isn't coming close to spending all the LTIR salary space created by Zubov, so putting Lehtinen on LTIR would have no affect right now on the teams cap status. It also prevents Lehtinen from returning for 10 games and 24 days. We're over the cap and we will be until Zubov returns. If Zubov's ready before Lehtinen, then Lehtinen could go on LTIR at that time retroactively.

it's going to be Richard Park. He always tries hard and can skate like the wind.. perfect for scoring on a defense core that doesn't do either of those things.

I'm behind them.

I just expect them to lose now instead of win.

I don't want to lose Boucher.

They had a piece on him in the pre-game. This team needs to get their **** together.

According to the official NHL game roster, Morrow is starting with Ribeiro and Eriksson. I guess Avery is back with Richards.

Oh God, that's not good. There's an automatic three goals against.

If the Stars don't beat the Islanders, I will lose faith in all that is good and pure.

I'm glad Tippett reunited Ribs and Morrow. Hopefully they find that chemistry that they had last year.
