GONCHAR officially on MAPLELEAFS.COM???? (but no story)
Let's start a game-show called "How Lame Can You Get?"
The TSN thing is old news. If anybody else on here can get a bio of a player currently not on the Leafs onto mapleleafs.com, complete with picture and info, then post.
Its legit. I tried pluggin in Dif names and it doesnt work.
BUT, i think its legit for a dif reason that others think. I believe the webmaster is just being ready. Having this up now would make for a quick fix if the trade does go down. I can imagine how slow a site like that is when big news breaks. Having it done makes for less work in high traffic times.
this is common, there were links posted to NHL.Com placeholder pages which were spacers in preperation for future news.

Until then, stop trying to be funny.
Wow, lets have an aneurysm over this. We know the TSN thing is old, who cares. It can still be fun. There is no point in freaking/spazzing out.
I think the big hubub is the fact that he was scratched tonight and then someone finds this.. no more no less.. I had previously said that I would believe it when I saw it on mapleleafs.com, but now I have to rephrase and say the front page of mapleleafs.com
don't follow the links in the treads type it manually www.mapleleafs.com then surf on over to the meet the leafs you'll see that it's a fraud, he's not on the page.

That was already brought up very early in this thread.
The discussion now is:
1) How did someone do this?
2) How did anyone other than the person that did it find the page?
3) If Gonchar's wearing #55, did we get him for Berehowsky? :p

..Then pick any player and replace the name in url you come up with with any player and you will see that the only one that works is Gonchar (aside from any current Leafs). It's a real link, but probably what others have suggested that just the webmaster getting ready incase something happens.

I personally don't care how they've done it, it's a fraud plain and simple, I certainly don't think an overzealous webmaster is behind this.

but how did they navigate to that link, if it's on the website direct me to the links and I'll see
