I just checked the tv schedule for the Kings, and the next game against Nashville, on Saturday, is not going to be televised, which I already knew, but, what I did not know, is that Nashville is not going to be televising this game either. So now even those of us who have the Center Ice package, won't be able to see the game either.

Geez...you would figure that the teams would coordinate these black-out schedules with one another, that way someone other than the fans who will be in attendance can also partake in the festivities.

But I guess this is what you get when you have two teams that are going nowhere face-off against each other on the ice.

...How is Nashville not going anywhere? They're certainly contending in the start of the season.

This happened a couple times last year I think, just the way it goes sometimes. You can always listen to radio online. NHL.com will show you any channel any game is going to be aired on ( http://www.nhl.com/ice/schedulebyseason.htm?team=lak ) and it looks like this is the only time this season.

If neither team is taking a feed I doubt there are guys pointing cameras in Nashville. Old school radio.

During preseason I felt like I was living in the 1940's. I would come home from work and turn on my radio. I bought this retro Crosley record player to replace my old one or I wouldn't even have a radio in the house.

I'll be out of town for this game though anyways so I wouldn't have been able to watch it. I guess it came on a good night for me.

ENG vs. Game Production (electronic news gathering). Apples and prunes. Might get a high and wide though. I hope ya do.

Didn't say they'd be great shots or anything, just sure they'd have some form of coverage.

It just wouldn't look good on FSN or ESPN to do a rundown on the NHL games and have nothing to show.

Tough draw to get us on the Saturday game.....college football down here occasionally usurps the Predators broadcast.

Yeah, I got an e-mail from NHL gamecenter from NHL.com saying:
"Watch tomorrow's Los Angeles vs. Nashville game live online!"
"Get live streaming Kings action all season long"

So who knows.....

The only other one I would question is 4/7/09; do we get the Oilers PPV games on CI?

Sweet. Then we should be golden.

One other question came to mind.... don't the guys in the war room in TO use game feeds for replay? If that were the case I would have thought there would be some sort of mandate that at least one of the teams should televise.

I'm not sure that I would want to watch just LaBarbera for 60 minutes.
