If we lose to the Leafs Murray should be fired, then flogged, then made available to the public so we can urinate on him.

Expect Blake back in, Tlusty demoted to Marlies and Finger to make his season debut. I'd assume that Frogurt Frogren sits out, as well.

Schubert over Richardson.. pleaaaase.

Also if we play like we did in the 3rd for a whole 60 mins, we'll take it.

If every team played like they were down a goal in the 3rd... we'd have much better hockey. Unfortunately it never happens.

The most cliched phrase in hockey: "We need to play 60 minutes."

I would support this decision. Or they could just call-up Lee again, because I'm still not sure he should have been sent down.

On a similar note, Phillips really needs to get it going. He's looked terrible for most of the year. I thought he'd be a decent fit on the 2nd PP unit, but he's turned it over quite a few times there.

I think Phillips is being pushed by Hartsburg to pick up his offensive game due to our lack of offense from the backend. He was out of position multiple times tonight and has seemed really scrambly.

Bring Lee up, move Schubert back to defense, bench Picard, move Fisher between Ruutu and Neil, and keep Vermette in the top 6.

Also, I think Gerber gets the start here since Auld was no better tonight - and the original plan was to start Gerber for tonight's game.

I've noticed this as well. It seems as though Phillips is trying too hard to create offensively.

Honestly, after tonight's game - I'd stick with the original plan and put Gerber back in.

Dont get me wrong here, We had NO luck at all tonight. We had the WORST lucky bounces i could ever think of: Marchants goal, Pahlsonn wacking at it, etc. Auld played Decent tho.

And if Gerber had been in net for those goals, everyone would be talking about how he's always unlucky.

I think the key is to move Fisher to the third line to allow Vermette to get some real chances to score, and bench Picard to save us at least one goal a game.

I don't see how Schubert gets back on D. Here's the thing, Murray and Hartsberg made such a big deal about how Schubert wasn't good enough to play D on this Sens team (or was more useful as a forward, whatever) to now pretty much put him back there to help stop the bleeding? I don't see it happening.

That would pretty much mean putting their ego in check and admitting they made a mistake and that simply won't happen.

I dunno sounds like excuses to me again, those were all cheap goals from what I saw on the highlight real. They were really brutal, maybe even more brutal then Gerber. The Sens are in real trouble with this tandem and our defence at the moment (again I'm basing this on the highlights right now).

Hey guys I'm from the Philly area.

I read a lot about how Gerber's a bad goalie and all the line combinations.

My thoughts.....

I think thats the stupidest thing in the world to break up Heately Spezza and Alferdsson. My god if we had them i'd want them to play 24/7 together. They produce tons of goals and can win 20+ games for you just on their scoring abilities.

As for Gerber..... He's a slow starter, always has been. He can be absolutly brilliant though. If the Sens figure out the D he ll settle in nice. He's truly a damn good goalie. I'm not saying hes a Turco or Broduer by any means but he can easily put up a 2.50 910 spct and 35 wins.

It's early watch him string some games together and u ll love him.

He was great in Carolina.

PS. We are dealing with the same things in Philly and underpreforming team. We've turned the corner the last 2 games and last night I saw the spark back. Just wait till the Sens hit their stride.

But WOW fisher, vermette your secondary scoring is killlllllllllling you guys. But spliting up your top line is not the answer it just creates another problem.
