No prob. I'm glad he rebounded from a subpar third period.

And Marty played a very solid game. He didn't have much chance on either goal (one was a deflection, one was a total bed-wetting by the D).

its amazing how ppl think that ALL Flyer fans are responsible for that...like we all had some secret city wide Flyer fan meeting to plan the big "smoke bomb attack" event.

yeah i know. But I will take it. I thought the effort was pretty good from start to finish. I am not going to feel bad for anyone when we are missing Briere,Parent and Jones. I dont think the Devils faced the Flyers best team either.

Actually, Steve Downie threw the smoke bomb. It was filled with one of his farts and even though the N.J. players don't know it yet, they all have cancer....

Agreed. We'll take the two wins and get this season really moving along.

So, I have a radical thought: everyone thought it was the curse of Palin.

What about the curse of Briere?

The bench reaction to the double fight was classic. When Cote dropped Leblond, they went nuts. Richards was going crazy banging his stick, and Carter threw his arms in the air as Leblond hit the ice. When he got up, Richards was leaning over the bench yelling at him. So funny.

I just said that on another board. With briere missing we have played two of our best defensive games of the season and still put up lots of goals.

But palin does have a curse

Ahhh...not all of jersey smells like north jersey. I'm from the LBI area and its quite nice, as is most of southern nj. North Jersey should really be its own state or just be adopted by NY.

Anyway, great game by many players. Biron finally looks like he is actually getting into position, carter is just amazing this year, upshall is a firecracker who never stops moving his feet, i still like what i see of nodl, everyone really looks like they just stepped it up.

Sbisa I thought played a little week tonight though...a few give aways and stupid decisions. I wonder what will happen if he'll stay or be sent back down.

I thought sbeeeeza played really well until he gave up that monumental mistake late in the third period to gionta. If that were a player on form he would of buried that in the net. We got so lucky

Rofl from the thread on the main board about the stink bomb:

He did have some high points again that is true...and I really like his confidence and that he sticks up for other players already.

I might be over analyzing his play since i'm trying to figure out if he fits in for the rest of the season.

He definitely makes some mistakes though every game. I know most people make mistakes, but his seem to be pretty huge sometimes. Don't get me wrong, I think he is going to be a stellar d-man, but I lost a little confidence in him for being that this season.

Flyer fans I have noticed a crazy trend that I wanted to point out. I have not been able to catch a Flyer game at all this season, until last night and the one today.. those were the only 2 games I have watched and Biron has looked good and they won both games. I also missed the last game of the playoffs last season due to work when the Pens eliminated them. Now, I think I must watch all games but with school I'm in Niagara Falls, USA and work I don't get the opportunity to watch many Flyer games. I will however do my best for the sake of your team.. I have watched Buff since that's the home team where I am and they're off to a great start.. things that make you go hmmm..
