The good news I guess is that our offense can keep pace for the most part.

We all know that won't work in the end though.

The Brad Richards trade revisited:

To Dallas: Brad Richards, Johan Holmqvist, Tampa's Defensive Play

To Tampa: Mike Smith, Jussi Jokinen, Jeff Halpern, a pick, and Dallas' Defensive Play

Fistric with a HUGE defensive play on the PK. He saved a goal.

Why is the "Face-Off 2008" graphic still on the ice? They going to keep that all year? This is why you can't let the NHL start putting crap on the ice, they'll never know when to stop.

Wow that happened in slow motion.

In the past there's no way would have gone in for Loui.

You know it's going in whenever there's anything remotely threatening.

Intermission Motivational Speech:

"No matter how bad he wants to lose, we will not let Turco do it."

I am flabbergasted at how bad we are defensively. I think 5 well placed figure skaters could do a better job.

The other BS about all this is the Capitals score 5 goals and we don't even get to see one from Ovechkin.
