Being at the game, it was very cool to see him get the hatter. The crowd went INSANE when he scored, and he deserved it all, definitely the first star. Congrats to Luuuuuuuuuucic

It's not the goals that I'm most impressed with. It's where he got them. All 3 were right in front of the net, where he should be playign.

Really like the guy. Think some people might overrate him, but he's going to be pretty great.

Oh that is so awesome. Lucic is a great guy, and a really hard worker, I'm glad it's paying off for him.

I wish Lucic was a Hawk. Good for him. Glad to see a kid like that do well. He had an assist too, 4 point night for him. He has half as many goals now as he did last season, or something.

of the reasons for dave nonis to get canned, not drafting lucic from the canucks back yard is very high on the list!

As a Habs fan, he's a player I love to hate but would love to have him wearing the bleu, blanc et rouge.

Good for him! We'll probably see a few more of those in the years to come

He made a great defensive play after he broke his stick, too. He was a force in all 3 zones.

I think he's going to get strong consideration for Team Canada in 2010. He's the type of player that would fit perfectly on a star-studded team with his work ethic, unselfish attitude, physical play, and defensive awareness. I hope Steve Yzerman and his staff having Lucic on their list, and I'm sure that Lucic will make the country proud if he was named to the team.

I doubt he makes it but boy would Vancouver go nuts if he did.

Maybe if Canada had a 2nd team, even then it's a stretch. The kid is awesome but we're talking about Team Canada here and an international tournament where speed is a very strong factor and guys like Morrow, Mike Richards and Doan have the hitting covered.

I'm still angry how the Canucks didn't draft this kid...then again I don't think I'm the only guy with a man crush on Lucic

IIRC the Canucks didn't have a 2nd round pick that year. Drafting Milan instead of
Grabner at 14 overall would have been inconceivable circa 2006 and he was long gone before our next pick in the third. I would love Lucic on the Nucks but blaming Nonis seems rediculous. On a side note durring the draft I seem to recall Lucic durring an interview calculating the years before he's ufa and can sign with the Nucks.

Well it's not all about scoring goals. The kid hits and fights and looking at those goals he's not afraid to go in front of the net. He just turned 20 too.

Does your hate have anything to do with the team you cheer for?

He's everything a hockey player should be, he is a hard worker, tries as hard in the defensive zone as in the offensive zone, and hes a good guy. Whats not to like other than the fact that he plays for the bruins?
