Our defense and PK was absolutely terrible tonight. Why don't we pressure at all on the PK? Things might have been different if we could have potted some of those empty nets at the start of the 2nd.

Gilbert was decent.

But shame on MacT for being so stubborn with his line combinations up until this game.

If he does end up losing his job, he'll only have himself to blame.

Stauffer's lack of professionalism in the final minutes really made me wish that CHED had kept Morley Scott.

What's more annoying than losing to no name third liners: Losing to them while listening to Marc Crawford.

The PK has been bad all season, but it really showed tonight.

PP wasn't all that great either.

And yeah, our PK is far, far too passive right now.

This is what happens when Craig Simpson leaves the team. Seriously.

Ugh.

Mistakes have killed us in the last 3 games. Both Visnovsky and Hemsky overhandle the puck for my liking.... and what is with the solo attempts to enter the zone (1 vs. 3... even Penner is trying!)?

I thought the same thing. I could picture him with his Canucks jersey still on as he did the comentary. He was pretty bad.

It's probably how some people feel about Craig Simpson, but at least he is good at his job.

He literally said "shut up" on the air, directed at Hansen. Then he moaned about the refs tossing MacIntyre out of the game. Right now's he doing some more whining about the "soft" penalties called on the Oilers at times during the game.

The score doesn't reflect the level of play tonight...If Edmonton shows up on Special teams tonight, I think its us winning this one 6-3.....

Some encouraging signs tonight (especially Cole)....

Sucks losing to the canucks... Their fans are such **********....Let those babies have their bottles tonight, cause I don't think Van is playoff bound for a second straight season....

It's not time to panic. But at least Cole is playing where he should be, and that first line actually looked good with Nilsson on it.

Gagner played better.

I'm still waiting for Brodziak to do something positive. And Stortini has been a complete letdown this season.

Be a homer all you want. Hughson is and he's fine to listen to. The problem is Crawford sounds like nails on a chalkboard.

Are we blaming the loss on the announcers?

not only was he playing Cole out of his normal position he only played Souray a few shifts on the right side. Watch a youtube of Souray's goals when he was i Mtl...he scored most of his goals one timing it from the right point.
