I called my wife that yesterday. I just think it sounds funny. It was kind of an experiment, she'd been whining for me to bring her coffee. It was to see if she didn't react to my remark, ensuring she got her coffee.

If you call them something really offensive, as long as it's out of the blue and not during an actual conflict, my experience is that you can get a laugh. I can post the collected data, but really, you should all do your own experimentation.

Somehow I think if I did that, you'd find that I might never post on HFBoards again because I would never be heard from again. But it might give the people in the other (real?) lounge something to talk about when they read the news.

My wife actually has a bit of a reputation for being adept at physical conflict. There was the incident when in a basket ball game, a girl shoved her into a back wall as she was going for a layup. The way the story is told, she got her forearms up to block against the wall, spun, threw a haymaker, instant ko.

There was the woman attacked on the subway with a piar of scissors wherein she jumped in, while big strong men crowded to the other end of the car. This doesn't include the legendary fight after a Dunton vs. Mobtreal High game where she found 6 girls backing her little friend into a locker. She doesn't tell that one because it took on urban myth proportions, what with knives involved, people saying they were there that weren't, when actually she just got in between her frined and the gang and held ground until the teacher arrived.

So, I'm doing these things at great personal risk, for the good of all mankind.
