And, yes, I feel bad forbthe Atlanta fans. What a poor team and they will probably end up trading Kovy in the next 1-2 years
I think it's almost cruel to hold onto him. Kovy put faith in the organisation by signing a contract extension with them, yet they have done absolutly nothing to help him. Look at his linemates for christ sakes. At least he had hossa once. The team doesn't want to play, there is no energy.

I would be ashamed to play for them if thats how they play

2 years 4 mil- 2mil/per
or 3 years 6.6 mil- 2.2 mil/per

something like that would be GREAT

JvR-Richards-Hartnell
Gagne-Briere-Downie
Upshall-Carter-Giroux

I guess lupues doesn't fit in here, but thats a great lineup. JvR-Richie-Gagne 2would be sick also

Timmoen-Coburn
Sbisa-Parent
Eminger-Marshall

I'm glad the Flyers won, but this game pissed me off.

I spent most life in Atlanta and still live there when I'm not in school. I've followed them and supported them even though they weren't my favorite team. Next to the Flyers, I have another special place in my heart for the Thrashers.

Believe me, they do have fans who are loyal until the end. But when the ownership shows this little commitment to winning, it's insulting to the those who have kept with them so long. It not only reflects poorly on the franchise, but the whole city itself.

Simply put, Atlanta deserves as respectable team and the one they have now is utterly pathetic.

agreed. They have no leadership. Kovy doesnt want to be there. He is a great talent he should not have to deal with that crap- even though he did take 2 stupid penalties tnite- more bvecause he was pissed off

Another good sign is how the defense, as a unit, played so well tonight.

If they deal Kovy, I hope they do a lot better than the Pens did when they dealt Jagr.

Vananen looked good tonight. He seemed to play Kovy physical

Sbisa played good agin, seemed to get involved more which emans his confidience is growing

Timmonen was timmonen

eminger played good defensively, which is what I want to see from him.

Alberts was not Alberts

Did not see Coburn out there which is good for a d-man

I love the fact that our defense is mobile.

Against Atlanta, Hatcher could be mobile.

the flyers were just simply flying and buzzing the whole game. tons of room to skate, they were given the blue line, and got all the loose pucks. They looked really solid.

If anyone cares, the Flyers are 7-3 in games that finished 7-0. That was the third 7-0 road win: 1973 at California and 1995 at Montreal.

Agreed, though he had me concerned for a brief moment with another odd pass in his own zone late in the game.

No, but they have to stop handing out huge contracts to forwards. Guys like Upshall are valuable under the cap.
