Zach Parise - He's a 40 goal scorer, point per game player on any other team. Not many people talk about him, but he carries the Devils offense.

Marc Savard
- Probably the best tape to tape passer in the league. Everyone wants to talk about Thornton, Crosby, Lecavalier.

Nathan Horton - Great power forward. Plays in Florida and quietly puts up nice numbers every year on a terrible team.

Definitely not top 5.
Hes definitely better than those 2 and by far. When those 2 put up the points he does and brings what he brings in all 3 zones it might be an arguement. Until then they dont belong in the same paragraph.

Best tape to tape passer in the league?

Yup. He can't spot out players like Crosby, but I think Savards passers are on the money more than anyone right now.

From my team:

Taylor Pyatt.

He's not that great, but he takes more scapegoating trash talk from Canucks fans than Cloutier, Malik, and Sopel combined, in their entire tenures with the team.

I think it's fantastic that Vancouver, as a fanbase, has decided that all of the team's offensive problems stem from a slightly above average utility forward, being paid $1.5 million per year, who gets 15 minutes of icetime per night.

Rob Scuderi. I don't think people realize just how far he's come.

Watching the guy on a 5-on-3 is pretty amazing. He's where cross crease passes go to die.

As a homer, I'll pick Zach Parise.

As a non-homer, I'll pick Zach Parise.

Tim Thomas. The guy is a freaking monster and was outstanding tonight. Most under appreciated goalie in the league.

I'll make a homer pick and go with Paul Martin. Nobody ever mentions him but he has been tremendous for the Devils so far this season. He's our #1 guy and plays in all situations. He's smart with and without the puck and is becoming more confident in his ability to start the offense with a pass or a skate up the ice. I'm very confident when he has to go into the corners to retrieve the puck because he's so smart. He avoids getting drilled all the time and often makes forecheckers look foolish. He's one of my favorite Devils in the lineup this year.

He's not as ruggedly handsome as Richards.
