Biron

How is he playing right now? Do you think he's still a excellent number 1 goalie?

He's as inconsistent as ever.

So no, I wouldn't say he's an excellent no. 1 goalie.

Sorry, just a quadriplegic then. No coma. He is really terrible. He is constantly out of position and gets softies scored on him and gets those wraparounds scored on him all the time. It is just horrific watching him play.

I like Biron a lot. I think he is a solid #1 goaltender and incredibly underrated.

He carried this team through stretches last season including rounds 1 and 2 in the playoffs...

He will be our #1 and a legit #1 at that, once he get it together

Biron let in some real horribel goals. He did not help but Flyers were a mess. Stevens looks a little bold after 6 games losing.

I think Biron is improving he looked solid in last game but he is nowhere near a player he was at the beginning of last season.

Biron is a low end #1 IMHO.

Can he win a cup? Only if he plays out of his mind like last years playoffs.

However, I see the Flyers main problem is puck control and defense. They just let the other team take to many shots and then fail to clear the front of the net. It is killing them. They need a new system.

Yes, him playing quite horrible this season tends to make us believe is "an excellent number 1 goalie".

He's a low-mid #1 goalie when hes on his game.

this almost seems like a troll post

I think he just had a bad start to the season, and it's now just starting to improve with wins over N.J.. Once he heats up, everyone around here will love him again.

He runs hot and cold, but he is a bottom #1 goalie. He is also ok at puck handling, comparatively to some goalies.

Kind of like Nitty against 28 teams every night since 2005?

Is Price still giving up those soft goals like he did on Sim?

biron has been playing better over the last couple of weeks

once he gets into a rhythm, he'll be fine. biron isn't the problem for the flyers, period.

To be honest, I like him much better recently. I think he's turned a corner from that horrible beginning of the season and now he's doing fine. It seems we've forgotten how to score now.

Is it me or has Nitty played a ton already? I was surprised they played him last Thursday against Ottawa.

Yes, he has. Especially considering he's getting back from hip surgery.

Niitty has appeared in 6 games already, not sure how many of them are starts.

i think thats a given for nitty to start against atlanta. if stevens decides to go against the one (almost) secure win in our schedule by starting biron, i will have realized that he completely lacks a brain. not that he's stupid, but there just isn't anything in there and its a real medical feat that he's still standing.

If the organization had faith in Biron, they wouldn't be looking around for other goalies. His days as a starter are numbered, especially with all the tenders on the block now.
