Kelowna handed Calgary their first loss of the post-season tonight, winning 3-1 over the Hitmen. Postma had the lone Hitmen goal.

Backlund had an assist for the Rockets.

Wow, the Rockets head back to Kelowna with a 2-0 series lead.

Rockets win tonight 5-2 over the Hitmen. Guggenberger was unreal. Karpov and Seabrook with goals for the Hitmen.

Backlund had 2 goals.

Sounds like Jones hasn't been that good while Guggenburger has been. Adversity for the Hitmen for probably the first time this season. We'll see how they deal with it now. Pretty much need to take both games in Kelwona I'd say.

Good to see Backlund continuing to play well though. 2 goals including the game winner.

Kelowna is a damn good team, Guggenburger is playing unreal right now.

Backlund looks great so far also.

I wonder what the word is on Benn. That's two nights in a row that Seabrook has hammered him.

Kelowna leads the series 3-0 now, after beating the Hitmen 2-0 tonight.

I knew the Rockets were very good, but I didn't expected them to school the Hitmen in this series, and that's pretty much what has happened so far.

Have to be dissapointing for the Hitmen. Definetly didn't expect them to be down 3-0.

Oh I hope Kelowna wins this. Sutter was at the game suposedly. I hope Backlund gets the winning goal as he is a real bright spot for the Flames future right now.

Wow Backlund has been a monster this playoffs.

What a great pick by us.

Nice of the Hitmen to finally show up for this series, winning tonight 6-2.

Sonne really stepped up tonight and had a big game. Good to see the Hitmen win. Getting swept would have been a really dissapointing end to a great season.

Back to Calgary now. I don't think I would count out the hitmen yet.

Hitmen win 6-1 tonight, to make the series 3-2 now. Great game by Calgary, they seem to have woken up now and in the last two games have brought the frustration to Kelowna.

Goals from Foucault, Broda (2), Sonne, Plante and Burgart.

50 shots for the Hitmen tonight.

Backlund had a few good shifts but wasn't very effective. Probably his worst game of the series.

Looks like the Hitmen have figured out Guggenburger. 12 goals in the last two games. When this calgary offence gets going they can be very hard to stop. It'll be interesting to see if they can continue the momentum into Kelowna for game 6.

Backlund managed to be a +1 in this game.

I'm not sure if he'll ever play in the NHL. He scores a lot of goals, but he's a very poor skater IMO. You don't notice him a lot when he's on the ice, only when he scores.

I think he's a great prospect, but you may be right.

I just checked the leading goal scorers from the 'W' since '97, and it's a very underwhelming group. But, only two guys were younger than Broda: Brendl and Lupul.

Lupul is the best player that has lead the 'W' in goals since then. They are the same size...maybe that's what he can aspire to. Or maybe he will be an Erik Christensen, who lead the league in 2003.

I don't think his skating is that bad, definitely not bad enough where it would keep him from playing in the NHL. Not the best skater, but far from the worst, IMO.

It was really nice to see how loose they were towards the end of the game.

Also, nice to see Foucult and Broda on the board. For the most part, they looked like the team we saw all year. Hope the hole isn't too big.

Martin Jones sure seems like the best goaltending prospect nobody talks about outside of Calgary and LA.

Well that was a disapointing end to the post-season for the Hitmen.

Dissapointing to see the Hitmen lose. Gotta give the Rockets credit though they played a great series.

That's awesome, I was glad to hear it. Very deserving for Lowry.
