Quote:
Hoping to spark the offense, especially Brett McLean, Richard Zednik and David Booth, DeBoer split up the trio and paired Booth with Kreps and Radek Dvorak, and McLean and Zednik with Michael Frolik. Kreps, Dvorak and Ville Peltonen were one of the best combinations Thursday, but "we have to split them up just to spread it out a little bit," DeBoer said.
Shooters falter in extra session
Florida Panthers fall to Nashville in shootout
George Richards' Blog, Your Source For Reliable, Early Panthers Info!

Jassen Cullimore made his season debut last night. Keith Ballard continues to play at a point per game pace. Last night began the first of 5 away games in 8 nights, including a western trip.

Red Hot Cat Of The Night Keith Ballard, with 5 points in his last 4 games including an assist last game, leads the team in points and assists.

Primary Target

Time, always working against the Panthers. The clocks were set back one hour last night, but can the Cats turn back the clock to a time when a strong outing was a nightly occurrence? Can they finally shake off the rust and accept the offensive mindset of constant forecheck? And will the special teams finally wake up and not wait for the defense to get all the offense? Only time will tell.

LET'S GO PANTHERS!!!!!!!!!!

If we can't win against the thrashers, we have SERIOUS issues.

Need to come out flying and put them away in the 1st period. Then keep it going in the 2nd & 3rd. No excuses. Must win against a team that is behind us in the standings if we want to score enought points by the end of the season to make the playoffs.

Nothing short of a regulation win here. Lets also see Belak v. Boulton!

Olesz already does everything for us, and now we're asking him to play the goalie position too. Great save Rusty!

It looked to me like the Thrasher player had his hand on Horton so how did we get the penalty??? "Conspiracy theory"!

Ok, Belak did high stick someone there but they still missed the Thrashers penalty. Now the Ref are keeping the puck from goin all the way down the ice. Get out of the way!!!!!

I can't stand this.......gamecenter is the ********* thing i've ever wasted my money on. All it does is buffer and **** up regardless of what setting I put it in, and I do have a fast internet connection and a more than able computer. So frustrating, I can't ever watch a damn game.

We've given up 4 odd man rushes to the worst team in the league in only 10 minutes!

Why do we always cycle the puck along the boards? Nobody is ever in front of the net and we never get shots from the forwards. They just skate around behind the red line. Last time I checked, 99% of goals are scored from IN FRONT of the red line!

Oh, and FSN showed a shot of DeBoer, and he had this real "What the hell did I get myself into" look on his face.

I guess the player's stick doesn't have to come in contact with the opponent for it to be high-sticking anymore...pathetic call
