players you expect more of with slow starts

Toews - No goals so far
Backstrom(caps) - Has been a bit better as of late, but must still improve
Ovechkin - He'll get better
Luongo - Doesnt look like a vezina winner right now
Osgood - Brutal with that save %

Vermette and Fisher will pick it up eventually, and are very close to doing so.

My fantasy team says hi. All the following players are killing me...

Kopitar
St. Louis
Ovechkin
Selanne (heating up, though)
Mueller
Bouchard
Bryzgalov

Also, I feel that Plekanec should get a mention here. Talk about being snakebitten!

Pominville started how great 6 pts in 5 games is not bad at all he's cooled off with getting no pts in the past 3 but still I don't think he is of to a slow start.

He isn't playing poorly, but he hasn't been much of a factor out there without Brochen Hecht.
I just don't find myself noticing him much. He hasn't had many scoring chances at all lately.

Crosby and Malkin. Malkin isnt shooting nearly as well as last year and Crosby hasn't hit his grove yet. Mostly cause they aren't good together 5 on 5. Therrein is ruining these guys.

I thought Ed Jovanovski would be a 15 goal-55 point defenseman this year running that PP in Phoenix with all that talent up front, but I don't think he has a single point so far this season.

Bouchard? As in Pierre-Marc Bouchard? Who's averaging a point per game?

For the Preds, Legwand needs to show up this season. He's making that contract look worse than it already is.
