*giggles* I don't think Nolan appreciates Ott and/or Avery's yapping tonight.

I loved the yapping motion he made with his hand

That last shift by the 1st line looked out of place.... like the Stars were trailing by 2 instead of leading. Nice.

ouch Morrow

take it easy captain, you've earned a bit of a rest tonight.

**wow amazing setup by Avery there, I guess it's true what they say about him being talented

If that was Brunnstrom in front, he would have finished that. Ott cannot finish with a shot.

Real nice twists and turns and then setup to Ott there by Avery.

oh great another PK.

kill it off Stars, you've earned this win - no need to ruin the effort right at the end.

Ott is one of my favorite players, but I get sick every time I see him skating with Ribeiro or Richards. Such a freaking waste.

that faceoff is outside the zone

great game Stars, the score could have easily been higher.

Stars were the far superior team tonight.

So much more tenacity on puck battles tonight all the way around. Good win.

Nothing spectacular from Stephan, but that's not what the Stars really needed. Just stop the puck more often.

He does not have soft hands, that's for sure.

But that line was very effective tonight, stone hands on one wing or not.

they got to go with Stephan until he has a bad game. The fact is the Stars needed shaking up and Toblerone starting against the top ranked team in the league provided that spark tonight. More of the same please Dallas

That was a much more impressive showing. Good forechecking, defense wasn't falling all over themselves.

I hope Fistric is okay.

He played in the third, so I would assume he's fine.

I understand Kritter's issues with Brunnstrom but how the hell is he going to learn the defensive game if he's sitting on the bench with a three goal lead. Put the kid out there in the game to work on what he's been practicing.

Yes Ott scored the goal, that's nice but he still shouldn't be playing with Richards outside of penalty killing. Both, Brunnstrom and Barch played well in their short shifts and should have been given more ice time with a big lead. He goes to the front of the net and he scores. Give him the opportunity to learn the rest.

Naw. I agree what Tippett was doing. He rewarded the hard workers on the team with more shifts and PP minutes. This was a must-win, so I certainly didn't want to risk anything to test-drive Brunnstrom.

I don't agree or disagree with how they played Brunnstrom cause I don't know the back story. I don't know if he mouthed off in practice or has a stiff back or smashed his stick in the hallway between periods or was just benched for a bad turnover.

I was saying Brunnstrom had several bad habits during the preseason and if Tippett saw those re-emerge, I could see why he'd be benched. But that's all speculation. For all I know, he made fun of Tippett's former mustache.

Well guys Dallas is two from two when i do these predictions...

I havent got them exactly right, but

1) Dallas has won both games by 2 goals...

2) the two guys i picked for first goals, ended up with multi point nights...

I will continue with these i think...

If he made fun of Tippett's 'stache then I'm okay with benching him. That thing was majestic.

An incredibly fun and entertaining game to watch, especially with Ralph and Razor. I was flipping back and forth between the Dallas/Min game and Toronto/NJ. What a contrast. How anyone can listen to Resch and Emerick without their heads exploding is beyond me. You guys are incredibly fortunate to have the worlds best announcing team in sports. Someone should write a book containing all of the Razor quips. Priceless -- or certainly well worth the price of Center Ice.

We should play like that more often.

And the opponents should definitely turn the puck over that often against us as well.
