Minnesota is not some super team that can't be beaten. They make sure the players are responsible and in the right position, which is nothing extraordinary. If our top three lines are moving their legs and taking the puck to the slot we can and should beat anybody.
Seriously...
I was reading this thread thinking we were like a bottom feeder and the Wild were the best team in the league. Fact is both teams are very good and either team could win tonight. With Price in net we are going to be in every game IMO and if guys like Plekanec or AKost ever get going then things are gonna be good.
what the hell? Carbo you frickin tool....dress him! That's why we got him, to play teams with major Heavies. Carbo is too ****ing nice to Brisebois and Dandenault..why the hell do they dress???
Am I the only one who rathers Obyrne in the line-up!? Its the beginning of the season, I rather he plays now and learns from his mistakes than watch Breezer make them all year long.

Get rid of them!
Man I'd like to slap Carbo upside the head.
you should read the links before you go off on Carbo.
Had you read the link, you would know that Boogard is not playing. Therefore, Laraque is not needed.
Second, Dandenault, has NOT been bad this year.
stop hating just to hate.

Carbonneau obviously liked what he saw from the fourth line last game, and frankly, so did I; so why not keep it the same? I am sure Carbonneau was a little concerned with our transistion and neutral zone play so he has inserted a pucking moving defensemen to allievate the problem, something that will need to be alot better to break the Minnesota trap. Good coaching decisions IMO, he is trying to play with the strengths of the lineup.
Will be nice to see the team play on an actual ice surface, not that pile of crap setting at the Bell Centre. How does BG and the owners let a 45+ Million dollar investment skate on such a crappy ice surface?
The Wild at least give their players great ice, should help Montreal out.
Damn, I was hoping for a Boogie Man/Laraques tilt to break up the monotony

Sorry coach, our fourth line tore it up last game and deserves to remain in tact. What's up with the Dandy hate. He's been playing real well. +2 actually.
Quite frankly, Dandenault played his way into the lineup with the last game. He worked hard, and looked good on the penalty kill. Scratching him to put in Laraque, when the Wild aren't dressing Boogard would be a poor choice.
O'Byrne and Breezer are going to rotate in and out of the lineup until one player wins his spot in the top 6. So far, both have been shaky at best. I would rather have O'Byrne in the lineup, but I am fine with him having to win his spot by outplaying Breezer to the point where it's not debateable. Getting benched last game really didn't help O'Byrne's cause. Missing a couple of games here and there isn't going to ruin O'Byrne's potential, so people need to calm down just a little bit about it.

The voice of reason. Sums it all up in one neat package.
Thought Power....WE WILL WIN TONIGHT........................................... ...................
Last game we played a tight defensive game and would have won 2-1 if the Canes had not scored their lucky goal ( their 2nd one) when Price was getting up from the butterfly.
We played good D, kept it very tight and only allowed one goal till that lucky 2nd one.
Many of our guys are very eager to get it going and score goals.
A. Kosti.
S. Kosti.
Pleks.
Higgins.
They all can play better than they have in the last few games.I think at least two of them will score tonight.
I say we win this one 4-2 tonight.
On our way to 25. Sir Stanley here we come.
