Jimmy Bonneau Fight Clip

Habs draft pick Jimmy Bonneau chuckin' nuckles for the P.E.I. Rocket. He wears the "A", and I'd say he won the fight. :p

Reminds me Rivet vs Marchment against Toronto last weak. Oh man ! If he fights like that every time, he is our next Langdon with better skills.

I played against him when he was Bantam. We lost the provincial title to his team (We had beat them 3 times in 3 in a tournament). I was sitting next to him when i was the back-up. I think he was suspended. If i only know what he'll become, i would never said the things i have said to him !

wow. That fight would best be described as "a thorough pummelling."

He's listed at 6'3 218lbs...

Wathier was a 6th rounder while Bonneau was an 8th...

Is Wathier supposed to be a great goon?

He's not small. He's 18 and around 6'3 215. That would make him one of our biggest forwards, and he still has several years to grow. I heard that Bonneau trained hard in the off-season with a former Rocket player on how to be a better fighter, looks like it's paying off.

I don't think that Wathier is among the top fighters in the Q. Bonneau is surely ranked higher

I'm from PEI so I've been to a lot of Rocket games. Bonneau can definately fight, I don't think I've seen him lose more than once, but that is all he can do, he's a longshot to make the NHL.

I don't think it was that great a fight, he sure kicked the **** out of Wathier because Wathier didn't do anything (cause he couldn't), but Bonneau didn't really land any serious punches. They didn't land anywhere, or they were in the back of buddys head.

Not bad. He can sure swing em. Didn't land many, but lots of speed on the punches! Not sure if there's room in the league for 'pure fighters' anymore. If he doesn't have anything else to contribute then
