LOL @ the Hawks GDT, "Let's See Who Janik Goes Home With Tonight"

I'd laugh my ass off if he suited up for the Hawks in another waiver swap before the game. And then I'd worry about our blueline once more.

And does anyone else think Stephan's got last year's Hawks game on his mind, going into tonight?

Conner was recalled under "emergency conditions" most likely due to Barch's injury.

Darn x10 at Richards being out.

I'm think/hope this will be a good game. I think the Blackhawks will win with them being very talented and at home, but I wouldn't be shocked if the Stars pulled this one out. I just want to see a good game.

Being happy after a swede scored ... damn ambivalence.

Barker 1-1 the blackhawks powerplay didn't really need that much time.

Wow, that was a great job by the Hawks to screen the goalie. Exciting game so far!

Fistric's fault. Poor, poor coverage. That was the slowest cross-crease pass I've seen untouched with a defenseman in place.

Niskanen played a big part in that bad after getting danced at the blue line at the start of the play (again). That's a really bad habit he's developed this season.

Fistric also made a very poor decision.

Niskanen actually recovered though and forced the Hawk into a bad angle. Fistric letting that puck slide right underneath him was worse. Stephan has no chance if Fistric is going to allow simple cross-crease passes untouched.

Why is Richards being held out of this one?

True true.

I just don't think the play ever deteriorates that badly if Niskanen holds the guy up earlier. But Fistric had the chance to finish off the recovery and didn't.
