Yeah that was some pretty pathetic commentary on Jack Edwards's play. I'm also glad I didn't see hte game, it just seems pathetic. Still, you get a feeling it's a frustrated stars team getting it all out so they can focus on winning and the like for the foreseeable future (god I hope).

I don't see why everyone has a problem with the announcer showing some emotion and getting involved. He was calling the game and didn't shy away from speaking his mind. I would think that should be encouraged.

Because his homerism is out of this world...You should try listening to the Dallas' color guy Daryl Reaugh if you want to hear someone who is equal on all accounts.

Did you listen to the entire NESN broadcast? For the most part, they are pretty fair in their analysis.

Never had a problem with Andy, but the other guy? No, he was being a little *****, not calling the game. That isn't emotion, that is a guy overcompensating for something because he's in a broadcast booth and not on the ice.

I lived in Boston (well, Sharon) Mass. for four years, and I can unequivocally say the NESN broadcast team is among the most biased in the league. I can't speak to this game, but they were not at all fair during my years watching the Bruins. I had to watch games on mute they were so bad.
