YUMMY
I think I may one of few Hollweg fans out there. Yea, he takes some terrible penelties, but the guy busts his a$$ and is all about the team. Was glad he got traded to team were he'd get some time. Just ran out of room for him here, needed a change of scenery a bit as well.

And the refs come to the Leafs rescue. Standard procedure for Ranger games in TO.

The D-men have outplayed the forwards by a ton. 2-0 into the 3rd in a game where we have been no way near our best.

2-0 going into the third, can't complain. Now if they step it up like they do every third period.

Devils up 6-0 on Atlanta...
Isles up 4-1 on Habs

Anyone else notice the strange goal lights in the ACC?

Anyway, just a completly useless observation

as we were talking how bad NHL TV was earlier.... two games tonight are not broadcast anywhere - Ottawa-Tampa and Florida-Nashville. This NHL needs to sort this out.

Lets hope for another Valley shuthout.

Thats not a fair comment to vally. He has been steller and the team has played great in front of him (thus far). He is probably the ideal backup in my mind, and has been for a number of years.

And why does it seem so unlikley to you that the leafs are losing to us at home?

Completely random but Vanek has 11 goals in 11 games after 2 goals tonight.

He's having a great season so far.

i thought that too, but checked the nhl website and it isnt. i think they do the hockey night in canada thing. i'll ask my brother-in-law, he lives in ottawa -

i dont think the minnesota-phoenix game is shown either in phoenix tonight. too bad for that franchise.

Quick question -Did Giannone's teeth get all messed up when he fell like a moron, or are they just naturally terrible?

it has nothing to do with fairness. and no one is questioning valleys value to this team. my point was simply this, henrik is one of the best goaltenders, if not the best so far this season, in the league. to get the rangers at home without hank in net would seem to be a break for toronto. yet, they are still down 2 zip.

not unlike a a team playing the mets who miss santana, anyway..... thats was my point.

It had a better chance off being broadcasted in Tampa, Ottawa is not allowed to air the game local because HNIC has exclusive broadcast rights for the entire country on Saturday nights.

Lol really? Aggressive PK, and a hard fore-check is incredibly boring.
