Adam Foote is getting too much ice time. He is too slow. Give Leopold a shot at some more minutes.

Anyone else feel really jealous hearing our Haynes and McNab talk about McLellan?

If we had Nabokov we would be at least 7-2 as well.

Ahahaha, I come leave before the game starts, and I come back to a 2-0 deficit. I love our team.

We're gonna need something alright, about third (maybe fourth) season in a row where the best we can hope for is mediocrity.

I'm talking specifically about Hannan putting his stick in front of the shot to create a ramp and having the shot ramp up to the top corner. (Same play Leopold made against Columbus) Hannan no doubt intended to tip it up in the stands but I disagree with the play....just let the guy have the shot, from there your goalie should be able to save it. If you're going to tip the puck on him, then you're creating dangerous situations like that. This is clearly material for Coaches corner.

For every one that goes in your net, 20 go into the netting. If you move your stick it gives the player more room to skate and shoot. It is all about taking away space and forcing the player to the outside.

So I'm having a really hard time figuring out why Leopold doesn't get more minutes and isn't a mainstay on the PP.

Very good question. Sakic and Liles never shoot. Leo's got 3 goals.

The Avs are historically and currently coached by idiots?

Well a couple of those idiots did win Stanley Cups but a good case could be made that they were won despite their coaching.

I find it hilarious that we are dead last in PK in the whole league. Good job, Granatool !

This is what I was hoping from Budaj, he's giving us a chance to win.

It would be nice if Budaj could get some help from the rest of the team.

Giving us a chance to win? He gave up a long range shot that most other goalies would stop. Then over-committed on the 3rd goal, and was way out of position when the actual play came.

Keep "believing in Budaj," but this goalie tandem is awful
